The emotional intensity in politics today is certainly leading to disaster especially where people are more pessimistic than optimistic. In the UK we once had Cambridge Analytica influencing people's emotions through collecting data based on emotional response from the click bait they sent out. The same thing had and is still being done around the world. The person behind this, Steve Banon and of course his counter part Nigel Farage . Steve Banon founded several companies around the world to tilt political views and votes.
The companies he founded are; Cambridge Analytica, New Federal State of China, GTV Media Group, The Movement, Reclaim New York
Today if you are ever in any social media looking at any political topic being discussed, you will noticed that more people argue out of emotion than out of logic. So much emotional intensity. The world's politics is almost social media driven and more so because people now days get all their information through social media.
There is a tendency for people to choose a political side simply because some one they know, either a friend or family member supports that particular side. they gather a few information form what they are fed, and stick to it. No effort is put on doing personal research before making ones mind. this in its self makes the political arena emotionally driven as opposed to logically driven.
The day this kind of politics is dropped, is the day the world will get better. look forwards with optimism and make decisions logically my fellow humans. Otherwise the world is doomed.
