What does it mean if the guy doesn't have his Facebook profile picture with his girlfriend?

There is this guys that I've been friends with for almost a year now. We met in college and his girlfriend goes to the near-by college. We spent a lot of time together though, and he showed signs of liking me. He never really talked about her with me and made sure he avoided me on days anytime she visited. I confronted him on liking me, but he said "i love her very much". We irregularly talk and we are not longer friends on Facebook. The thing is, he's changed his profile picture away from his girlfriend to just one of him, twice. is this some kind of signal?

Facebook can cause a lot of wonders...

he could have family siblings on fb he doesn't want them to know about his gf

he probably doesn't wanna show off

he probably wants to make it seem like his Facebook is about him, his life...and that his girlfriend doesn't consume his life...hes independent too...which is a good thing I hate couples that over obsess about being together put up pics and the date they made it offical...ergghhh so cheesy!

he probably just likes the pics he has has of himself and doesn't have many good pics of his gf...i don't remember taking a picture of a couple...and its rare to camera-whore when your with ur girlfriend or bf...

may be he isn't that into her...

may be he's playing the whole player image...

or he's probably doing it on purpose just to drive people insane (you) lol

He is no longer your Facebook friend for a reason. Get over it and move on and quit checking his profile. It sounds like you want things to go a certain way but he has made his choice, so move on and find something better for yourself. When you change your fb photo are you sending signals to your 451 friends?

I doubt it. My profile pic was hardly ever of me and my boyfriend at the time. I just picked pictures that I liked. It had nothing to do with my relationship.

It's his Facebook page, not his and his girlfriends. I don't think a guy is obligated to have a picture of him and his girlfriend as his Facebook picture. It's my opinion that it's time to move on.
