Some guys think a lot of them are hot. Some guys will absolutely not date anyone with tattoos. Some guys will think a few tasteful tattoos are fine, as long as it's not an ex's name (unless he tragically died while dating her)
My parents would KILL me if I dated a girl with tattoos. Tattoos are wicked and immoral to them. What would the neighbors say? But, personally, I think a few, if they can be hidden, and if they're kind of classy, I kind of dig the look. I'm into slightly punkish girls, even though you'd never guess it by looking at me.
I'm an artist, so I can appreciate some of them. I suppose a few things would matter: I don't know about doing the whole back, or your face, gang symbols, or something dated or "tacky." If it was done at a reputable, safe tattoo place, that's great. If it was some dirty, nasty place where you don't know the guy's work, then I'd be concerned. I see tattoo fails a lot. I knew a guy who's tattoo got infected. If it was a rash decision, I'm not so into it. If you put some thought and originality into it, all the better. I suppose all of these things would make a difference to me as to how attractive I personally saw it.
Oh, and I doubt it's for me personally. It's not my thing; but I wouldn't judge someone harshly if they had a small tattoo (unless it's embarrassing, or a gang sign, or something like I mentioned last paragraph).

When i was in university there was this kinda dive bar. During lunch you could get a delicious schnitzel, chips and a draft for roughly 3 dollars. Loved it. It was a very "hippie" place, and almost anything went.
The one time we were sitting there, our server came around and on his fore arm was a tattoo of the grim reaper with his hood pulled back, and a snake curling around his skull and through his eye socket, with a naked lady posing at the reapers' feet.
Another time, at another restaurant we had a server with a beautiful geometric design with an elephant, some flowers, bordered by I think scripture.
Which one do you think got the biggest tip?
If a girl has a tattoo, it can either be the biggest turn-off (tramp stamp, anything on her bicep) or the biggest turn on (just have a look on pinterest for good examples)
Same with guys I suppose
If you want tattoos but are questioning whether or not you'll remain attractive then it's probably best if you rethink your decision. Tattoos are supposed to be a form of self expression. They are not meant to be attractive to other people but yourself. As long as YOU like them then whether or not a GUY does doesn't matter. And just as you said you are getting them no matter what, so why ask guys for their opinions on this matter. If a guy likes you he'll like for who you are as a person on the inside. What you look like on the outside won't matter as much.
Date a guy that loves tattooed girls and no one's opinions on you will ever matter to you again.

I personally wouldn't be attracted to a girl with lots of tattoos, but I've heard that it actually helps you in the dating world. Men who like tattoos will put you much higher on their list of girls that they want to date. If having a guy who loves tattoos is important to you (which it seems to be since you are going to get tattoos no matter what) then having tattoos actually makes it much easier for you to connect with those men rather than date someone before you get the tattoos and find out later that they don't like tattoos. Good luck!
I personally don't like tattoos. I can't understand the mentality of having to draw something on your skin to make you feel better, or confident, or to symbolize something - or as a message or something like that... I just can't no matter how many times people try to convince me otherwise. I just don't see the point.
Some tattoo's are better than others though. Avoid the classic "tramp stamp" at the base of the spine which just marks girls out as being ho's.
Then again - who am I to tell you what to do - its your body and your life so go for it! But my OPINION is that I don't like them.If they are in areas that you cannot see while wearing clothes, then I guess looking like white trash isn't so bad. However, if you can see any of them then your really living up the the white trash image. SO then you may as well go all out and get piercings.. esp in your nose and tongue to look like a really trashy twat.
I am fine with 2 piercings in the ears only. Anything else pierced I won't even date the woman. Visible tattoo's, I have no interest in her. Hidden, I guess I would think about it.The Washington Post
Tattoos seem more popular than ever, but is that artistic ink dangerous to your health? Little attention has been paid to that question, even as rates of skin cancer — the most common cancer — have been steadily growing.
German dermatologists published an article in March about their effort to determine if a tattoo had caused skin cancer in a 48-year-old man. About four months after a tattooist had pumped red and black pigments into the skin on the man’s left leg, he was diagnosed with skin cancer at a spot where red ink had been used, and he was sent to the specialists for treatment...

Maybe you should read all the article before doing a tattoo.Honest? I tend to see it as kinda trashy unless it's somethibg small, but that's just me. Tramp stamps are a definite no-no.
Key thing is, I can't help wondering what it'll look like in twenty years, then the next thirty after that.
Knew a girl who got the 1990's yellow smiling face tattooed on her stomach. She got pregnant. It stretched. Picture if you will how it looked afterwards. It could be sexy, I'm not a huge fan of overly colorful tattoos

Too much for my tastein the UK at least there is still the thought as to how classy, easy a girl is if she has lots of visible tattoos. For me i don't mind small or discrete ones but wouldn't find a girl attractive if she has large tattoos in a place that's visible if she wanted to wear a nice dress.
Some organisations insist on tattoos being covered up in the workplace so stories like this happen
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/magazine-29211526Honestly, that'd be an instant turn off. I'd have zero interest the same way i wouldn't have an interest in a smoker. It comes off masculine
You'll find guys that like it, but those same guys would also like a girl without. Then you'll find many guys that lose complete interestDepends on where she has her tattoo (s).
Non-marrying types: any tattoo that can't be covered by regular clothing. It instantly says, "I don't give a shit about what others think because I was irrevocably scarred psychologically when I was younger and what you see is the result of no one giving a shit. Deal with it. Oh yeah, and fuq a career. It ain't happenin'."
On the flipside, sex with a tatted up female is usually, if anything, vigorous. (Super Bowl Level fun)If you are covered in them, you won't be attracting the guys you want in the long run. Maybe a few are okay, but if you covered your whole body in them, I would be wondering what is up? It depends on the situation for me. If you have them to tell a story, that is cool. But don't get them for the heck of getting them. Maybe a few small ones are fine...
I AM DOING WHAT I WANT NO MATTER WHAT, I"M A CONFIDENT GIRL!!! So, what do you guys think?
"no matter what anyone says"
" How many guys are actually going to find this attractive"
There's a bit of irony. You don't care what people think or say but care if guys will find you attractive. Either way, there will be guys out there who find it attractive. I think girls with tattoos look even more beautiful! If they're original then it's sexy. If you're getting them just to get them then it just makes u look stupid and indecisive. Oh and no face or tramp stamps. And definitely plan them out. Cuz it's gonna suck when u think of something that would have looked better than the one u picked. And again, you'll feel stupid.
this is what i think about tattoos: cdn.someecards.com/.../1327013056458_5643634.png
i don´t like them but i don´t judge. It’s all going to depend on the kind of tattoos you get as far as if a guy will find it attractive or not. I have personally met girls with tattoos that were very attractive and who’s personality fit well with their body art, other girls not so much. I would say to keep your body art tasteful and not get anything that cannot be covered up (no tattoos on neck, face, or hands) any decent guys as well as potential employers later on down the road will see this as a turn off.
Its called body art for a reason. But by that same reason, that means that A) everyone thinks differently of it, and B) It can be bad.
Frankly, I think its incredibly sexc, however, it has to be done right.
in my opinion, not *too* many (like, you can have plenty, but too many and it just becomes crowded) and also, if done well, it accentuates your body, so yeah :)I think it doesn't really make a difference when unattractive girls get a tatoo, but when a pretty one (like the asker) does, its kind of a shame. It seens like putting a bumper sticker on a beautiful car, or painting over beautiful marble or woodwork. But thats just my opinion, people are going to do what they are going to do.
Some guys don't care, some guys loath it, but no guys will be more attracted. They would be just as attracted whether or not you had tattoos.
Tattoos are kind of different from the typical natural markers of beauty enhancements like hair removal, slimming, boob job, plastic surgeries. My wife and both of my daughter's have multiple tattoos. Oddly though, despite serving in the US Navy for 8 years, I have not a single tatoo on my body. Due to AIDS and hepatitis, that once traditional cultural element strongly associated with sailors was strongly discouraged by the chain of command. Since I returned to civilian life, I have considered getting inked but have never had a piece of art that I was committed to.
Depends on the tattoo and where is it pasted on your skin that determines whether I find it attractive or not and that varies from girl to girl. but if you want a tattoo it's your body do with it as your wish some people will like some won't who cares. The world will always be judgmental.
