Are Indian men attracted to Asian women?

I am an Asian woman living in the US. I am not completely white washed. I would say I am somewhere about 50/50. Lately, I met this south Indian guy at the university and I am very much attracted to him. I am not sure whether it is his bubbly personality or the way he look that got me much interested? He 's very polite and flirty sometimes. He texts me about 5 times a week for the past 3 weeks. We hung out about three times already, but it was quite casual ( coffee after class, party with a bunch of friends, and a casual movie). I used to hint him about my crush, but he ignored and said we are just friends. I sometimes feel like he likes me, but maybe he isn't sure either.

He seems hot and cold from time to time and I am completely confused about his intention. Was he just being nice or what? Could I be his only friend and that's why he texted me quite often? I just can not get over him. His charming smile and brown complexion just melt my heart away.

Ps: He had only been to the US for about 2 years, so he's very traditional.

From what I know about Indian men they are attracted all kinds of women and are constantly horny. I'm sure the typical Indian guy would be very open to dating a hot Asian girl. A traditional Indian guy would have to get the trust of the girl's parents to really date her and eventually marry her..

Hmm.. I don't know whether she's talking about native Indian guy or the actual Indian citizen.

I think that could be the thing too. To the American culture, dating means getting to know the person more than just friend and see if things will work out, but most traditional Indians only date to get married.

Acrualy I am also from south India so we think more tradtional and practically at the same time we prefer romance over sex. I am just talking about majority so if you give respect to relations then he defently likes you because we values relations too much good luck😃

Why does this have to be a race question, geez. Maybe he just doesn't like you? Who knows, but there's no reason to jump to the conclusion that he may not like Asian women

I am not sure, but there's a trend that traditional Indian man only date within their own race. It's part of the culture or pressure from the parents. that's not my point actually. I just happen to like this guy and I am asking for some advice. Sorry if the way I said it offended you.
