I'm too scared to wear my shorts because of my scars?

I really want to wear my shorts especially just now because it's too hot to wear jeans all the time. I'm sick of wearing jeans all the time but I'm scared that people will freak out if they see my scars. I have eczema which led to scars, my eczema is better I only have two cuts left but I have dark scars and I don't want people to comment on them.

I already had a neighbour say "looks like you've been in the wars" and i was wearing sport leggings so imagine wearing shorts. She even asked what happened and it's just embarrassing. I have toned legs but my scars embarrass me any advice?

Quit being so self conscience. If someone asks why you have scars (assuming they are sincerely wondering) you can tell them (if you want) and if thye judge you for it tell them to piss off.

Example for you. I have said before on here I have one limp eye as I had surgery done when I was kid and it has been limp since then. I don't stop going out in public just because I have something that most people don't have.

I don't see it being a deal breaker not to wear shorts. Trust me it wouldn't matter
to me if i had a girlfriend or wife who had scars on her legs , them flaws don't
bother me i would love her for who she is.

They should fade with time. Bio-Oil is supposed to help but I've never tried it, personally. If people ask you about them, you say "They're from eczema" or if you want you can make up something ridiculous.

Most strangers won't comment (because it's terribly rude and none of their business). People who already know you may ask; would you feel comfortable telling them about your eczema if they don't already know?

Yeah I will try that oil, thank you. I told her I had eczema and she apologised but it just upsets me when people point it out because it's out of my control

Yeah, I can imagine. People are rude in general. Someone will bring it up - you don't have to answer them.

Scars on your body are like stripes on a tiger, no matter what, a tiger never hides it's stripes, it flaunts them and so should you. Scars are never a painful memory, they are a symbol of strength, you should show them off. Don't fret about what people say, they keep saying stuff like that whether we look good or bad, just ignore them.

Don't worry what others say. Wear what you want
With confidence and be proud. If people feel the need to comment on your scars then they are
Shallow. We are more then just skin and bones

If you're in good shape physically, you said you were toned--go ahead and wear the short shorts if you like.
