Why was Lauren Mayberry so rude to the guy that shouted "marry me"?

I'm really disgusted how she turned it into an attack on women. Even worse is how her fans cheered her on. I see girls doing that goofy "marry me" thing to famous singers. She cold have easly rejected him by turning it into a funny joke that was comfortable for eveybody. But no, she got all ultra serious feminist on him.

Seriously why is it ok for Katy Perry to get kissed and groped by a female fan? Yet a guy shouting marry me to Lauren Mayberry is evil and sexist.

I think you already know why and I've said it to you before:

Women like the individual man, not men in general. They know other chicks aren't a threat to them physically so they're not gonna care if one kisses them or grabs their tit or something (some might find it annoying or disrespectful, but a lot of modern girls all seem to revel in acting like pseudo-dykes) but the POTENTIAL of a guy they can't evaluate first, saying something that's an affront to them as women (e. g. "How dare an ugly man feel attraction towards me, he's probably a creep, he might be a rapist") is something that offends them.

I know it sounds like counter-intuitive nonsense that women themselves probably can't even vocalize or put into words, but in laments terms? That's what it is and we ALL know that's what it is.
