A tomboy is a girl who exhibits characteristics or behaviors considered typical of a boy. So basicaly someone who doesn't act like a girly girl. :D

I mostly just did the pictures to give a physical look. To some tomboy mentality. It's not meaning that's how they dress. Just ignore the pictures and any other things I said. Just answer the question and ignore the Add Details part.

I'm a tomboy. I don't think anyone dresses like the second pic anymore. Usually I just wear a hoodie, skinny jeans, and sneakers. My friends (who are mostly guys) joke around all the time and act surprised when I do anything girly. I went to a school dance in a skirt once and when I walked in they were like "you're actually secretly a girl!" and when they found out I had a crush my closest friend was like "thank God! I was starting to think you were a lesbian." They were joking. I just fit in a lot better with guys. Girls are always trying to keep up their image and trying to be pretty. I never fit in the girl crowd. I was always the weird friend. Everyone else had their hair done, nails done, and had on nice jewelry. I bite my nails, and my hair is usually just braided, and I only wear earrings. I cannot figure out make up at all. I cannot walk in heels without stumbling. I'm just not a girly girl.

I never dressed nor considered myself a tomboy, however I do sometimes dress like the pictures provided... And in no way do those resemble tomboys at all.

1. The girl is in fitted clothing... If a guy dressed like that, he's a nancy girl then.

2. Midsection is exposed... Although this one could partially be consider tomboyish because of extra baggy pants, it still looks feminine. A guy in this would most likely look like a pansy.

Most girls who actually dress like tomboys, have this lesbian/boy look to their style.. Even if they're straight. Being sporty, or casual with ought pink, does not mean tomboy,

Actually, most of the tomboys are sporty and casual girls, you don't have to be a lesbian to be tomboy, and you don't need to wear "baggy pants"... Tomboys can be very sexy, in skinny jeans and t-shirts, shorts and tank-tops, sweatpants and crop tops etc... being a tomboy is not just about dressing style, it's about the attitude.

I used to be such a tomboy as a kid. I grew up with three brothers and I used to tuck my hair into a hat and pretended I was a boy too until I was about 8 lol.

I was pretty average until after high school when I lost weight, gained confidence, and started dressing properly :) I wore a grunge crop top and cargo pants today, but it still looked feminine. I'm really comfortable with either but I think dressing girly is more fun!

Some of my friends are tomboys and they pull it off well. I just don't like looking lesbo haha

I find tomboys in interesting and I quite like them, even though it's rare for me to meet an real tomboys. Tomboys are usually better as friends for me, thanks to more common interests. Willa Holland clothes are too tight to look tomboyish enough, if you want an real tomboyish pictures you should have go for some of Ellen Page pictures, I mean it's even written on her hat. :D

I think a gal can be feminine and still be into things that aren't typical of a lot of women. Being into football doesn't mean she has to look like a football player (just one example, obviously that's not the final definition of a tom-boy)

This is one reason why I gravitate to Latinas tbh. They are feminine, but can still kick your ass if they wanted hahaha. Strong, feminine, sexy personalities.
