Turkey is a diverse country, western and northern ones are white meanwhile eastern and southerns are brown, and there are Kurds not to forget. Pale skin is considered a beauty priority in Turkey, as it is in far-east countries. Turks are not complexed about white skin, but they consider very brown people like indiands, Arabs and Kurds ugly. Me and my family are pale skinned with colored eyes, one of my cousin wanted to marry with a Brown Kurdish girl, his family strictly refused this marriage just because the girl was Brown. Insecurity in Turkey is another thing, people in Turkey believe people have wrong ideas about their country just because they are muslim like Turkey is a sharia country, women rights are terrible etc.
By the way, Turkey is a sunny country and you can't expect people to maintain their skin colour during summer.
The Turks are complexed about many things. They have a criminal record in their history that includes genocides, raping, killing of innocent people and snatching the children of their own to raise them as Turk fanatics (the completely white ones today, as you notice). Therefore they are insecure as fuck. You see them in this forum posting every day the same questions, asking the embers wether they like them or not. Plus, they are mentally fucked up like all Middle Eastern/Arab people. This is because of decades, even centuries of race mixing and their oppressive religion and way of life.
I'm a turkish girl I have really white skin but I have yellow undertone so I dont look as white as scandinavian people. And most of turkish people are yellow undertone tanned skin. İn the east there are kurds and arabs they are more brown
And I want to say turkish people are not all bad. there are bad people like other country have.

Modern day turkey is extremely diverse. There are people descendent from Europe, greece, bulgaria, georgi. There are a lot of kurdish people and Asian originated ones as well.
Most 'brownish' ones tend to be kurds, arabs though. An average turk certainly isn't brown like a kurd or hispanic.
Frankly, I think turks tend to kind of racism due to the extreme ignorence of the people over there, yet I never thought that they get hyped about colour.
The Turks think they r better than any other race it started with the othman empire when they occupied a lot of countries and they were enormous force it's in the history altho the rulers of the othman empire where good and humble like suliman the justice and bayazid el thany and mohamed el fateh

Well you have the original turks who are descended from Caucasians, then you have the descendants of greeks who settled in turkey over 3000 years ago and then you have all the other peoples arabs, persians, kurds etc who the turks conquered.
The original Turks who migrated from East Asia and Mongolia to Anatolia have a completely Mongolian face, broad hairless faces, small almond eyes, dark skin, and some have yellow skin. Of course, in Turkey, there are a number of people with light skin and Indo-European typology, all of whom are descendants of Romans, Greeks, Persians, Armenians, Georgians, and Circassians, and are not considered Turks in principle.
