Why is it that people misunderstand what MGTOW means? And why do people blame the man when he gets wiped through divorce saying he "should have known better"?

I had a bad experience of getting picked on during my early school years by a couple boys, getting called ugly by them as well, my father hitting my mother and hitting me with a belt during my early years as a way to discipline me... my crush rejecting me but that doesn't mean I will paint all men as controlling jerks nor bastards.

Thanks to the misandry and white hating racism of feminism and BLM, we now have Trump as POTUS. The two served as campaign ads for his rise to the most powerful position on earth. Thanks to NAWL (National Association of Women Layers), a feminist organization, we have no-fault divorce, which is rapidly destroying marriage. Thanks to feminism, we have Affirmative Consent, stripping men of due process and presumption of innocence on college campuses. Everything the left touches is destroyed. The Democrat party is little more than a front for domestic terrorist organizations like feminism and BLM.

Feminists created MGTOW through their rampant misandry, 'women's studies' degree programs and their demonization of men and massive distortions of history. My mother and sisters are feminists and I haven't spoken to them in decades nor will I ever again. I'll let them be strong, independent women.

MGTOW are the counter revolution. How do we beat the misandric mindset into oblivion? Simply opt out. Walk away. Don't give a woman massive financial and legal power over your life through 'marriage'. Why would you when you face a coin-flip's chance of surviving 'marriage' and losing everything in the aftermath?

Every year, in the US alone, hundreds of thousands of men wake up too late to save themselves from all of the above truths. Why? Gynocentric brainwashing through movies, books, TV shows, music and the socialist indoctrination gulags we call schools and universities.

I'll give this to feminists: Marriage is slavery. No man should ever get married. Have said all of the above, do I hate women? Nope. But thanks to feminism and their success in tilting the law against men, I'll certainly never give one financial or legal power over my life through marriage.

The press paints MGTOW as a misogynistic, toxic movement.

It isn't at all, and I advise anyone who cares to understand it to view The Red Pill, in which a feminist filmmaker interviews the founders of MGTOW and becomes an advocate for men's rights.

And it's not at all the masculine version of 3rd wave feminism, which rants about "male toxicity," "rape culture," and other nonsense.

Simply put, it's a men's rights movement, concerned about mental health issues for which men receive no help, unfair and destructive divorce and child custody laws, and the constant bashing of men in the popular media.

MGTOW, unlike feminism, is open to discussion and even opposing views. But it wants men to heard, and it's eye-opening to see to what lengths radical feminists will go to shut down any discussion of men's issues.

MGTOW is also far more fact driven than feminism, which often cites patently false and unverifiable "statistics" to promote the distorted worldview of toxic men, systematic wage discrimination, and rape culture.

Did you know that in some states, men are forced to pay child support for children that aren't theirs, and even sent to prison for falling behind in their payments?

And did you know that according to US military and FBI data, anywhere from 20-40% (or so) or rape accusations are false or so flimsy that they can't be prosecuted? It's not the 2% feminists like to cite -- that figure has been debunked, yet feminists continue to recite it as gospel truth.

And if your life were destroyed by false accusations, while the accuser skates free, or you were compelled to pay through the nose for children your wife bore through affairs, wouldn't that make you just a little bit angry?

So before you judge the movement, try to understand its motives.

We now live in a society where nearly half of all boys are raised in an environment without good male role models. These misguided boys disproportionately become prison inmates and mass shooters. Don't you think that's a problem?

if you look at men who 'go their own way' after a divorce you see only socially inept losers. if you have decent social skills and select a decent woman then divorce is really not an issue. if the divorce rate is at 50% and 75% of the divorces are initiated by women then the conclusion i draw is that men's standards need to go up.

Well, it refers to Men Going Their Own Way. It's basically men "giving up" on women by never dating them again and focusing on self-improvement. The concept is good but it's followers ruined it due to the amount of misogyny coming out of a highly vocal minority of its followers.
