All you girls are saying no, but whenever I ask for advice on here, I always get stuff like "be more mysterious", "don't be clingy", "don't give her attention too easily". Are you sure you're confusing aloofness not working with you not LIKING it?

Early in the dating game? Yes, being aloof works. It makes you more attractive and lets her know you will not run her over with attention. Once some type of relationship has been established? Do not do it. I learned this one the hard way. Aloof or "hard to get" works for progression in a relationship, but "winning, DUH" is when the other person shows their cards. Now you have to be direct and show yours, if your goal is a relationship with this person you now can let your guard down and be direct with them. DO NOT CONTINUE TO PLAY GAMES after this, you will sabotage yourself. I had that was once very into me break it off with me after she caught me playing silly games with her. It sucks because I was trying to play the game to "win" a relationship when I already had her, and she thought that I simply was not interested and left me. Now I am dying for her back and I wish I had done things differently. Learn from others' (in this case, my) mistakes and know that a) Yes, games are OK early in the game. b) Once some type of relationship has been established, you must be TRUE.
