They looks very similar in my opinion.
What's the difference between ISIS, Al-Qaeda, Taliban and boko haram?
They looks very similar in my opinion.
Taliban --> mostly active in Afghanistan, created by the US (CIA) during the Cold War in order to fight against the Soviet Union. They later became radicalized because of the destruction both America and Russia left in the Middle East. No global terrorist attacks.
Al-Quaeda --> used to be centered in eastern Afghanistan/western Pakistan with Bin Laden as leader. Terrorist attacks around the world. Al-Quaeda was also created by the CIA and funded by its ally Saudi Arabia in the 1980s in order to fight the Soviets and later to fight Iran (Iran is Shia, Al-Quaeda is Sunni).
ISIS --> Centered in Iraq and eastern Syria. Global terrorist attacks. Created by the CIA (and still funded by Saudi Arabia) in the early 2000s in order to divide and conquer the Middle East and counter Iran's increasing power in the region. The utter mess and destruction America left behind after the Iraq war helped ISIS to grow by attracting many embittered people who had not been particularly religious before.
Boko Haram --> Centered in northern Nigeria. No global terror attacks (but many local ones). The group was created in the region without significant influences from outside. It was created as a counter-colonialist, nationalist and islamist extremist movement purging the influence of its former colonizer England by attempting to turn Nigeria into an islamic theocracy. Boko Haram has lost much of its influence but it still commits horrific kidnappings and terrorist attacks against civilians, especially women and children.
Thanks for answer. When US is the world's police I think they've created some conflicts just worse and that they're making new conflicts. Much could be easier to avoid if they didn't join it. Am I right?
Yes, I completely agree. Most people - even most Americans - don't know this but the US is bombing 7 different countries right now. SEVEN countries (Syria, Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Yemen, Libya, Somalia). Isn't that crazy? It's almost surreal.
I don't understand the US world's police thing. I believes they do more bad than good. I'm not sure which intention they've and it's a bit confusing I admits. They often says one thing, but do something different.
I agree. In the end, it's basically all about money and geopolitical power. At the price of many, many human lives. It's extremely sad.
Other super powers such as Russia and China all do many nasty things, so the US is not the only bad one. But nobody is as dangerous for the world as the US.
They're all Muslim, and they hate anything or anyone who's not Muslim. Al Queda and ISIS want to build a huge caliphate to rule over al Muslim areas, and maybe conquer the world. The Taliban just wants to rule Afghanistan, and Boko Haram wants to rule Nigeria.
I’m only better informed on Boko Haram, so I’ll only talk about it. In Nigeria there have been conflicts between the christian population and the islamic population for some years — the majority of the population is in the south of the country and identifies as christian. The islamic population is growing bigger and wants more representation in the country’s politics, which are as of now dominated by the christian population and their interests. Boko Haram are an extremist islamic organization seeking to obtain more power in that aspect by committing acts of terrorism against the christian population, their favorite targets being women and children.
I think all of them are essentially about the same thing — gaining power in different regions — but the methods, the attacks and even the religion are different from one group to another. They may sympathize with each other but they’re certainly not the same.

They're all a bunch of complete wankers.
But what's the differences between these groups? I knows what they've in common, but not the differences.
ISIS is the most radical, and in terms of actual military strength is (or was) the biggest. Boko Haram was an African Islamic insurgency operating in Nigeria (I think) but later became a part of ISIS. The Taliban operate in Afghanistan, and Al-Qaeda broadly operates all over the Islamic world.
ISIS had originally split from Al-Qaeda, all those groups are islamic terrorists.

Well.. um.. what's the difference between a radical Muslim and a radical Jew?
If your answer is "there's no difference they're both radical irrational motherf*ckers" then that's the answer for your question.. no difference
UNLESS you've something else to say..😊
They aren't really that much different. Same shit, different name.
It should be noted that they're TRUE moslems (and when I say TRUE, I do fully mean it: terrorists are TRUE moslems -- just read their cancer books).
They are radical (deep rooted) Muslims who obey their Prophet as he wants. The prophet or so called prophet was actually known by the Jews of his time as the anti christ and he was the only prophet who need a sword because he had no power from God Almighty which os because he never knew YAHWH The Almighty but Allah a pagan god who a wofe or daughter named a lot.
Elijah was a prophet in the Bible he never needed sword and Elisha too. Elijah would call fore from Heaven to burn his enemies and Elisha would call wild Animals from the forest to eat his adversaries. And all the other prophets too had God Almighty's backing but Mohammad did not. So he needed his sword.
@jake007
As atheist, I pretty much believe each and every religion is utter crap, therefore the only thing that concerns me is common sense.
Moslems are barbarians. Islam is an ideology of terrorists. As atheist, if I can't pick a neighbor who's atheist, I'd pick pretty much almost anyone but a moslem. End of story.
Being an Atheist in the 21st century means you have stopped learning. Because just few years back scientist believed that the sun and the planets revolved around the Earth mean while the Bible got it right all along. And they also thought the universe was eternal and the told them in the beginning God Created the Heaven and Earth note the word Beginning. But now Albert Einstein theory of relativity proved the Bible right again. And many more we could go into.
@jake007
And here I've thought I'm talking to a reasonable person

Well, at least you ain't a moslem.
You should know don't believe in and whatever you believe in be at Evolution or whatever it takes some amount of faith in fact for you it takes more faith to believe in such things because you never experienced it you never experienced evolution you are literally told by somebody some random person whoever it may be
But me when I pray I literally experience the power of God every every time when I read the Bible I literally experience the spirit of God every time and when I'm sleeping and I called the name Jesus against any enemy forces that comes against me like nightmares I literally defeat them every time
And when the Bible talked about knowledge of Good and Evil it was talking about people thinking they are wiser than God like right now how you think you think you know better then to believe in God meanwhile God is the one who created everything you see around you so how smart are you
ISIS broke off of Al-Qaeda, Al-Qaeda called ISIS too extreme, Boko Haram are the ones that commit the most crime but they are based in Nigeria and they don't get as much media attention and Taliban are just a group of wankers.
There is no real difference but they are all the same. They want to steal, kill and destroy any thing and anyone they can.
They're all subsidiaries of Goat Fuckers International.
Slightly different ideologies. That's about it. They all kill innocents and civilians. So in my boom they're the same thing.
Lmfao. Stupid autocorrect I don't know where it got boom from mind.
What's the differences between the ideologies?
I'm not sure. I don't study belief systems of militant extremist groups.
Political extremists , using religion to recruit followers.
Their name is different according to the region.
They're all generally the same thing but they're just different factions it's like different street gangs
Al-Qaeda and the Taliban are fighting for the liberation of their countries. Boko Haram and ISIS are extremist groups that want a unified world around Islam.
ISIS seems to be largely incompetent. Alqueda is over and boko harem is in africa
They essentially have the same mindset , but different names.
Not much difference. They all want a pure Islam. No room for other ideas or ideologies.
Terrorists with different names?
Same thing, four different groups.
ISIS succeeds al Qaeda I think
No. They are two separate factions. However, ISIS did split off from Al-Qaeda, if I remember correctly.
Al-Queda and Taliban are the exact same lol.
They all criminal like USA army can u deny?
