What do people from Scandinavian countries think of Latin American people (men and women)?

I'm just curious since one of my friends just met a Swedish girl who's an exchange student. He told me that she has a huge thing for Latino/Hispanic men, especially Mexican men. However, she's only just one Scandinavian person. As an American of Mexican heritage, I'm just curious if Scandinavians find Latin American cultures, such as Mexican, Guatemalan, Colombian and so on, interesting cultures with beautiful people.

As a Swedish guy I find Latin America to be a mixed bag. On one side its amazing in its culture and people, on the other it is a bit of a backwards country that does not share our values and has major issues to work thorough.

Nothing. Scandinavians think nothing of Latin America. They are interested in Europe and Europeans of the same race as them. The way nature intended.
