Okay republicans are so obsessed with masculinity and anyone who isn't a republican is a beta male cuck. I mean they feel there is a war on masculinity and unless you own 20 guns, want to have sex with Donald Trump, want to deport anyone that is Hispanic, think black lives matter is a terrorist group and that being Muslim or practicing Islam should be punishable by death or that all forms of welfare, Medicare, Medicaid should be gotten rid off you are a weak beta male what is up with this

Usually, the very things people fear the most themselves are the things they will accuse others of being/doing. Take evangelical fundamentalists who scream and swear about homosexuality. How many million times has it already happened that some crazy religious pastor who called gay people "abominable" and "sinners" in his sermons was later caught sucking another dude's dick in the New Jersey turnpike public bathroom? It happens every other Tuesday.

It's the exact same thing with the famous "cuck"-insult and the alt right's obsession with masculinity.
These people accuse other men of being "insecure" and "effeminate" and "beta" because THEY THEMSELVES are SCARED SHITLESS about the fact that they might actually be that way. They themselves are panicking over the possibility that they might not be considered "real men".
I mean, think about it: it was these very alt-right boys who came up with this whole notion of "alpha male vs. beta male". Why would anyone even bother to create such a dichotomy if it wasn't for the fact that said person wants to prove something to themselves? If you are actually a confident man who doesn't give a fuck, you don't need to compare yourself with others in the desperate hope of placing yourself over those other guys. Why does Donald Trump constantly explain how rich he is? Maybe because he's NOT. Maybe because a real billionaire wouldn't have to brag about his money. If you have a big penis, you don't need to walk around downtown telling every passer-by "just to let you know, I got a really huge dick".

These alt-right guys are freaking scared of being "cucked" themselves - in a metaphoric sense. They are panicking because women are becoming more independent and because those women pick different guys; guys who are less douchy and hateful (and insecure). They feel left behind, partially because they are. This makes them feel deeply insecure and like "beta males". But of course they can't acknowledge this inconvenient truth to themselves, just like Donald Trump could never admit to himself that he's a complete failure of a businessman. This would shake the core of their identity. And so they transform their fears into hate/arrogance and insult other men of being "insecure" or "cucks".
This is of course deeply ironic but they don't realize that.

As a very lefty person, I think this whole thing should be specified to be fair to people like you. What the asker has said is very true but it is obviously not true of all conservatives. In fact, it's a minority of conservatives (albeit a loud one). Also, it's almost exclusively guys who fit the description. Typically young, immature, inexperienced guys between 18-25 who are "alt-right".

Most conservative women, though I still disagree with them, are considerably more reasonable than their male counterparts, especially among teenagers and early 20s people.

I dont think thats true at all. I've met many republicans who are masculine but not obsessed with it. A lot of hispanic and African American males are republicans and masculinity is a major thing in their culture which is true of islam too.
