@madhatters4 was that from the relatively controversial biography? I did a small google search and there seems to be some debate over it.
That said I don't know why Gandhi would be anti-semitic. I don't see any reason for an Indian who is pretty well known for preaching non-violence would hate the Jews. If this comment is true perhaps it was in the vein of radical understanding of Ahimsa to the point of self-sacrifice.

In a way, you could say their lives are valued less than those of whites.
