No. They need to promote good gun knowledge & respect. I had toy guns as a child & I was taught to treat it like the real thing, & one time I didn't & I got punished for it by having the toy thrown away.
My grandson was denied guns for political correctness reasons. Stopped when he was found clutching his sister's Sindy doll, bent at the waist, as a gun substitute.
Lol wow look how many guys who said no, probably thinking "no i wanna have fun with my fake gun i need it>:( all these grown men being extremely stupid and immature about it i guess
Banning it just makes it more popular and draws a line between kids with "cool parents" who ignore age restrictions and "squares" who have to follow the rules.
Banning fake guns for children... how about banning real guns for adults too?

My friends and I all grew up with fake guns and none of us have shot anyone... the issue is with black gangs, half of all murders are by blacks and yet they are only 13% of the population.

Now I have a great respect for all weapons.
They’re fine if they are neon green like water guns and not realistic looking
Only if the plan is to raise weak girlymen who cannot resist a tyrannical government and/or fight a war.
If you live in a city full of retarded people scared of their own shadows: yes

yes!! the police may see them and shoot them dead... oh, that's only black children? I see...

You worry me.
I see years of going to school also paid off for you.🤣😂🤣
I know a boy who got expelled for talking a toy gun to school hahah

YES. That and overly violent video games. I’m so glad I have a daughter on the way and not a son
I'm glad you dont have a son either.
Daughters can still be violent. My mom thought the same as you, but only for about the first year of my life
My kids were not permitted to own toy guns. I did teach them how to shoot and respect real guns.
I can understand the concern but also teaching respect for weapons or harmful objects isn't a bad lesson to instill early
Hell we grew up playing cowboys and indians and army. Even had bb gun fights. We turned out just great.
It's dumb as hell, if you think about it. Toy replicas of devices that are made to kill, to sell to kids
Banning it just makes it more popular and draws a line between kids with "cool parents" who ignore age restrictions and "squares" who have to follow the rules.

In that situation, it's probably better to have toy guns. Those guys just want to be safe.

Not at all. If they are fake, they are not real, regardless of what they are trying to emulate or depict.
Why. When I was a kid. we weren't allowed fake guns... so we made our own with wooden blocks and played with that
No, but I do think respect and safty for firearms should be more widely taught to kids and adults alike.
no as long as parents teach them it's not nice to point at people
