I think at that point... provided we survive that long... 1000 years from now, maybe. I highly doubt there will be anything like that in the next 100 years, so none of us would experience anything like this.
I think the first step would be in something like the movie "Her"- intelligent operating systems.
But, if they had the emotions, and we knew they couldn't kill, and they could somehow produce babies... etc... past whatever issues humanity might develop with "robosexuality" (yeah, Futurama reference) or some kind of classism or whatever... then ok... but I think most guys would still prefer flesh and blood, even if robot women were just about indistinguishable from the real deal. Maybe a "training" robot? Lol. Like no one would KNOW it was a robot (or care), and guys would learn how to date from the robo-girlfriend... but then moving on to human...
There'd be the guys who wouldn't want kids, so not an issue for them. But then if the robots had realistic emotions like real women, then... why would those same guys that don't want real women or say there's too much hassle with real women want something that would be indistinguishable from real women?
I'd assume there'd have to be some changes in how they think, what those emotions were, in order for there to be any interest from the more militant "anti-woman" or "anti (westernized society) women" type guys. Like if you could special order a personality and knew how to manipulate the Robo-girlfriend, an off button, a mute button, I might understand it. And if you COULD control it... where's the challenge or potential for personal growth or... "fun"? Do they want a girlfriend... or "a sometimes sexy" housekeeper you could sleep with? There'd be Robo-rights, fights for "robo-mixed" marriages, etc.
Of course, this gets into philosophy and all that, but I still think most guys would want the quirks and would be ok with some of those annoyances for the chance at real love or a good relationship.

It's interesting reading articles about this and women's reactions. Could this become widespread? Hm. I think it would alter the paradigm as much as the birth control pill and abortion did, possibly.
1. How affordable and lifelike would it be? That's the single biggest factor I think. If they were several grand and actually seemed similar to a person they could possibly become a thing.
2. This would definitely appeal to a lot of the guys who lack the looks/status/social skills to actually pursue and have sex with women. The other interesting factor would be celebrities. Could they get male celebrities to go with it and basically have harems of these androids?
3. The funny thing is these robots would be designed to be 10/10's. It wouldn't be a regular chubby girl competing with a weird robot. It would be competing with whatever porn star or actress licensed or had her likeness copied for one of these.
It would probably encourage women to hit the gym more often.
When will they be producing a male version?
I mean a man that can be a couch buddy, gets things done when asked once without complaining and has the ability to learn adapt to a woman’s sex style moves sounds good.
All joking aside it sounds like a stepford wife.
I could see some benefit for people without partners especially people with physical disabilities who might have a harder time finding a partner but long it sounds like it could create some mental health issues. Part of being an adult is learning how to handle every day interactions and you don’t like your partner enough move on.
I think this is an awesome idea for everyone. No more searching for love when you can make your cyborg lifetime mate just the way you want them. Robots are so cool! 😎 Mine would look like an anime guy.

I doubt it, they're more a niche market thing, no matter how much they approximate humans. Even if they did saturate the market, the components to make them would get more expensive as demand rises, making real women more desirable again anyway.
Just think about how much more expensive IPhones become with each iteration, less because each new one requires some new, special parts or labor, and more because demand for the phone itself rises with each new one to come out.
If it was just about the cost of the technology, than androids would be comparably expensive that have the same features... but they're not. Some people will always prefer the real, and some will prefer the artificial, that's not going to change much no matter how good the technology gets. The only thing that could make that change would be a drastic shift in how men in general are, or women. Such as the flip side, if women start preferring robot sex, and not men so much, then there isn't much choice in preferance for women, and more sex robots get purchased.Any man interested in a robot never had any business trying to have a relationship with a real woman to begin with. Go for it and stay out of the way.
They may for a short short very sorry time until women realize that their replacement means that real women ARE replaceable and that if the options are to date women that will not have a man or her family's best interests in mind not will they genuinely just be themselves, an artificial fuck toy is a viable replacement.
We are in a very strange time where women think they hold the upper hand but wouldn't be able to program a clock on a microwave if men decided to stop helping them. We are watching as demand special treatment and equal inclusion in spaces based off of who they are, not the skills they possess. This will eventually blow up in their faces and return them to second class citizens of they don't cut the bullshit. If this happens, it could be hundreds of years before women get the chances they have right now again. Nobody wants that, but points are being proven buy major political movements that are based in feeling not in fact. All it will take is a few bits of skin texture polymer, some engineering, and basic programming for most men to be longer buy into women's shit.Replacing women with robots?
I've never heard of this before. I'm guessing the idea behind this is so that you can buy a girlfriend, and she can be your cook, cleaner, slave, basically submit to whatever you want. And yes I suppose I see the appeal... whatever. However I also think that that would be the great failure of the human race.
As a woman... obviously I feel insulted. I could never even contemplate doing the same with men, it's awful. It's disrespectful, it's rude, it's demeaning. Robots could not replace the men in my life. Only a narrow minded angry person would feel the need.
Everyone is flawed, and when you get closer to someone you find those flaws exasperating, but also oddly beautiful because they are a part of the person. You learn that person's history and you can start to see why those flaws are there. You can never change them, you can only appreciate them, and that's the beauty of getting to know someone on a huge level of depth.
We are animals, we are not perfectly rational robots. We are irrational, sensitive, emotional... and that's the beauty of life. Obviously I get that life is hard, and finding partner is hard. It's particularly hard for average and below looking men because of the way in which women judge men for reproduction is an unforgiving judging system designed to pass on the best genes. It's probably exasperating, it's probably tiring. But replacing women with robots sounds an awful lot like failing and giving up.
So yeah, I see the reasoning, but I also think it's quite ridiculous. It's like when a man or a woman has two bad relationships and goes 'where are all the good men!!!' that always makes me laugh. It takes two to tango, nothing's ever one person's responsibility. If men/women feel like the other gender has failed them, this individual is also likely also to blame.I mean I'd much rather have sex with a synth than a human.. I'm talking synth though like in Fallout or channel 4's Humans or Detroit: Become Human y'know, like they actually look like people but without all the complications. Because robots like in that above picture freak me the fuck out.
I'm high functioning autistic. I don't really dig any of the relationship shit. Some of my friends can't seem to understand why I'm content to just enjoy porn once in a while and keep away from relationships. They have the audacity to judge me "you've paid for porn? Oh nooo dude!" Like as if it's shameful and pathetic.. meanwhile I'm thinking "You've not paid for porn?" Because from my perspective I'm thinking they're douchebags for only seeing the cheapskate free porn which is like watching clips from a movie.. well it kind of is the same thing. And I'm just thinking "you don't know what you're missing out on", but from their perspective they think I'm a douchebag for paying for porn like some pathetic loser.. but they don't get that I only really have an interest in sex.. and prefer porn to sex anyway. .. mostly because there's no emotional involvement, hence why a sex synth would be great.though out history the Feminist movement and MGTOW movement. have both happened multiple times. they tend to resurface when they is to much of an in-balance of power leaning either way.
sex robots might take of the role for some peoples partners. but I do not believe everyone will use them. at least not at first that is.
what is a bit more worrying are these issues.

Guys, Thoughts on girl who Spurglers (steal a guys baby juice)
Guys, Thoughts on girl who Spurglers (steal a guys baby juice)?Oh really? Then I want fairness.
I would like to replace real male interaction with MY IDEAL MALE ROBOT PARTNER.
I will design his looks the way I want. I'll program that he will ONLY STAY WITH ME, be calm, devoted, romantic, CUDDLY and SEXY , handle my tantrums and also be like an obedient cute doggo, He would NEVER IMAGINE life without me and make me the centre of his world. Muuaahahaha and he will actually be the one whom I'll genuinely LOVE FOREVER.I think eventually they will become an option alongside women. Like porn is an option right now. Like visiting a prostitute is an option. Etc.
I think replicating the interaction you can have with an actual flesh-and-blood human, the relationship you can build, is going to be challenging to say the least.
But technology is being developed at such a dizzying pace that why not, someday?
Women can already get artificially inseminated and have a baby that way.
Brave new world. It would be amazing, incels would stop existing, introverts would have someone to practice with, freaks would be able to explore their kinks and even assholes
who would rather sodomize a doll than to accept they can't maintain a real relationship because they're too narrow-minded and can't take on responsibilities will be happy. Everybody wins, even me as I am bisexual and the sex robots would weed out the men and I'd have more women for myself. The industry is growing although I don't see any AI sex robots in the near future for ethical reasons and the fear of skynet attacking with dildos lol they're getting more realistic tho and I think it's greatNo, but not because they couldn't. I mean most women are not living up to their potential, and are basically phoning it in (when they are not belittling men that is), however the moment those robots start getting to that degree of quality women will suddenly realize that they will have nothing if they don't clean up their act and will eventually change for the better (some day I hope).
The idea that women would be replaced in this fashion would be ludicrous. If this robot was exactly the same as a woman, why imagine a robot? If these robots were designed to replace women who would design them? Men? Our flawed perceptions would make an even more flawed creation. Women are in no way perfect, but they are complimentary in ways that can't be perfectly predicted. Now a cyborg chick with a weaponized robotic arm, I might find that attractive. However, the perfect woman is unimaginable, because doing so is the first flaw. Some key attributes can be applied, but these will always be generalities.
I don't think they'll replace women, but I'll be honest, I would consider getting one who can at least pretend like she has free-will (although obviously if she did, she wouldn't choose me, so I kind of run into a wall there). It doesn't even have to be a "robot", it can be a fucking hologram, I just want someone to talk to, and I've been alive long enough to know that women are not going to give me that chance.
Judge me if you want, there are definitely women for whom vibrators have already replaced men, and that's just a big robot penis. If men were intelligent enough to stop having relationships and marriages with women who have nothing to offer but pussy and an attitude, this wouldn't even have made it past the imaginary stage.
I'd rather have an intelligent robot that can cook, clean, and do other menial tasks so life would be easier and I could enjoy my woman's company instead of being so busy all the time. It would be better than hiring someone to do it, too, because everything it does would be right the first time with no supervision.
But women still wouldn't like it. Mainly because intelligent men who could afford one would only be selecting women based on looks, personality, and what kind of effort she puts into herself and the relationship.Who knows, but it's already happening to sex workers..
https://www.dailystar.co.uk/news/world-news/prostitute-warns-sex-robot-takeover-21391568
''A legal prostitute has warned of a " sex robot takeover" after a brothel staffed entirely by dolls opened its door. ''
''This sex doll brothel could be a stepping stone to a sex robot takeover of the Las Vegas area sex industry," she said.''
"While human prostitutes are mired in legal red tape, doll brothels don't have to worry about complying with any restrictive legislation.''
There was also a case of a brothel introducing just one doll, and it made more money than the real ones. They will replace women who only bring sex to a relationship. Women who make good mothers, who are loving, compassionate, driven, positive, and want to be on the same team as their man have nothing to fear.
Women who bring only sex to the table in a relationship probably can and will be replaced by robots.Yes and no. Robots will replace women for many men, but not all. But they will change things in some important ways. They will force women to be better women.
Women have slowly but surely reduced their value to men over the last 5 decades or so. Today, women offer men much less than their counterparts did back then. They don't cook, they pay other people to raise their kids, they expect men to do all the things women used to do in the past like cleaning, housekeeping, etc.
In short, these days the primary thing women bring to the table is sex, and it comes with a lot of costs and risks. Many men will undoubtedly forgo costs and risks and opt for the robots instead. I think we will reach a point where women will need to step up and begin offering more value again, like they did in the past.Only those would buy it who can't get women. In all seriousness, we are a species that relies on interaction with each other and we work better together than individually. The robot can only do so much, as in it lessens the feeling of being alone, but doesn't replace it.
No, I think men want a soft and sweet woman who makes their house a home, makes a family with them. I don't think these robots will be good for much more than sex, people need care and comfort and love as well. Even if they can show emotion, I don't think it'll be nearly enough the same.
How can you be okay with sticking your penis into a machine? Even if it is lifelike it is still not even your own species but a machine. That's disturbing! If you even have to adopt a mindset of being okay with having a robotic partner then you need mental help. I also find it interesting how men who get a lot of females would laugh at this.
I can’t vote “yes” or “no” because there is no definite answer. I believe that it would stay as is. What I mean is that we, as men, would have more plethora of choosing. If we couldn’t tell the difference from the two, it would come down to each individual and his criteria. Just like today, I may like a blonde girl and you a dark haired. It depends on what you want
