Under investigation I’m going rule that there is a third party to blame in this case. Catherine was not at fault. As for Grayson although I’m not going to pin the blame on him I’m going to charge him with aiding, abetting, or as an accessory accused of providing assistance to the principle before or after the commission of a crime. In addition I’m going to save the best for last & I’m going to pin the blame on the guy that said “You Killed Him!” If they guy would have said something else this story would have gone in a different direction & the ending would be different as well.
It was obviously pretend play. This type of play should be encouraged and supported as it supports development into adulthood. This is how you know NOT to really shoot someone in real life... because your actions have consequences. Yes this is pretend consequences, but it feels real at the time and this is how you learn without killing anyone.
They was just messin' around. I would have done the same thing as the brother if someone was pretending to be thor on anesthesia or whatever she was on. They didn't know she'd react that way. No one is to blame.

Honestly this all looked like it was in good fun, but she seemed a little loopy (assuming pain meds cause that head brace looked like one you have after oral surgery). Kids play around its how we learn and grow, there wasn't any ill intent in this far as I can tell.
