Are women inherently more valuable, and why is that?

If you observe behaviour on this website, a fair to middling woman by default will get a lot of positive attention and responses from males, 'oh gosh, you're so beautiful. I would sell my body organs for one night with you' to 'golly, you're the most beautiful girl I have seen'.

Whereas, a guy who has strained in a gym for about 15 years, and is perhaps above average attractiveness, and may well be a decent guy with a lot going for him, will watch the tumbleweeds go by.

Someone said something that got me thinking. That children and women have inherent or innate value, but men do not by default. Meaning, children and women have innate, almost spiritual value, whereas men's is more conditional, they have to prove theirs.

Is there a difference in how men and women are perceived on a moral level? Are women deemed to be inherently good? Whereas a man has bitten from the tree of knowledge and therefore is not to be trusted unless proven otherwise? Is it to do with male behaviour? For example, we know a lot of men behave poorly, harass, become overly sexual and fail to see women as people.

Why is this? I know there is a biological facet. I know women and children have to be protected because of their baby making capacities. But are there deeper analysis and unconscious unravelings to be had here?

Of course, it will be silly to suggest behaviour on the internet is anyway reflective of 'real life'. But given that Brits are currently under house arrest, unfortunately it's my own means of observing human behaviour at the moment.

I'd hardly think it's silly to assume that the net isn't reflective of real life; it's just that it's a reflection: a two-dimensional representation of the real thing. It's real-life humans who are doing it, after all.

To answer your question directly- no, not in the long term. Women's position as the bottleneck in reproduction means that they're more vulnerable, and consequently evolved to be more risk-averse. Sociology reinforces this, it's true, but you'll see a difference in the way toddlers behave- the risk-taking, shelf-climbing explorers are boys, 99 times out of a hundred. Look closer, and you can even see the same elements in BABIES, though it requires closer observation. You would think, then, that a society that protects it women at the expense of its men would be more prosperous, in that more of its children would survive to be born, and you'd be right- but human children aren't born as productive members of society, are they? Without the risk-heavy resource acquisition and personal safety-disregarding protection, fewer of your children will survive to adulthood.

Empathy vs respect. That's what it all boils down to. Women often aren't even respected enough to be seen as a threat. Men aren't empathized with enough to have harm done to them seen as MAKING a woman a threat. Consequently, a man has to fend for himself and learn to watch his own back, so the men who succeed usually do so well beyond what most women, being less driven by necessity, achieve- which just reinforces the notion that women aren't worth of respect, since they can't accomplish anything. The men who don't succeed, well... Take a walk through a slummy area sometime. Count the homeless people you pass- notice the gender ratio. Then look at news coverage of programs that try to help the homeless. I recall an alarmist newspaper article from some years ago talking about how a particular program needed to suceeed because of the terrible plight of the homeless- 1 in 6 of whom were women! The men in that position? Didn't matter. Not only did they lose sympathy for being male, but for failing the social tests needed to be a part of regular society; they weren't even worth noticing- which just reinforces the notion that men aren't worthy of empathy.

When you have one sex that's seen as essentially disposable, and thus valued only for what it can provide, and one that's seen as incapable, and thus valued only for its reproductive function, the effects on dating aren't hard to predict.

Without men, women would die out and vice versa.

We're both valuable when it all comes down to it.

Attraction doesn't make a person more valuable in any aspect outside to them just being attractive. Let's not match value with the amount of attention you get from the opposite sex.

No, all women are not inherently good.
As for at morality goes women can be just as bad/good as men.

Let's not forget there are horribke women out there that are behind bars just like men, that's just one example of many to show.

I have a theory that men and women have different, socially perpetuated values. for women it’s all about their desirability— if they are good enough as a sexual or romantic partner, which heavily lies in the arms of appearance. Maybe this ties into the biological aspect, that women have child bearing capacity. But I don’t think that makes them innately more valuable than men. You could say men have the same purpose to create children.. after all, it takes two. My question to you is: does how attractive you are considered or whether you can produce children equal spiritual value? In reality being considered valuable because of your desirability (as is any other physically dependent thing) is a sad existence. Your worth is then tied and balanced on something that is for sure going to turn to dust. I think your question is multidimensional and complex; it can be unpacked into an entire book exploring the answer.

As for your question I dunno there's that initial into the world thing from parents and that, that seems to give woman and children the advantage. But I think the main thing is that the man should take care of everything that gives him the shorter end of the stick, and/or the idea men care for themselves and their own whereas women are perceived to be more nurturing and caring

Men online may be more inclined to give compliments out easily but they sure as hell will tell me to "choke on a cock" and go into detail on how I should kill myself when they disagree with my opinion. Strange that this happens given women technically outnumber men in the world. But yes, women are more often pursued because men get horny faster.

I also talk to a lot of redditors who frequent “incel”-like pages (not saying you’re one) and find that they’re behavior is the cause of their lonliness. They don’t know how to talk to women. They don’t have enough hobbies that would let them come in contact with women. And thus they get angry about it.

More valuable by what measure?

Women's value revolves around sex and making babies.

Men's value is in making the world go 'round. The VAST majority of critical roles in society... the ones that make modern society possible and contribute to the advancement and evolution of modern society... are filled by men and always will be.

The only reason women might seem more valuable on the surface is because of their role in procreation and their related sexual value.
