Culturally, women have been considered less able to physically protect themselves, and indeed, are more likely to be seriously hurt by spousal abuse. Though men are physically abused by their female partners, they are often less likely to report the abuse, partly due to cultural norms, and the fear of being mocked or laughed at. A very significant number of women do abuse their male partners.
I don’t usually have conversations about abuse because I have never been physically abused- thank god. I know that physical abuse is real for both genders and am totally open to advocate against domestic violence against men. There needs to be a movement to support battered men. So let’s make a hashtag. However that works🤷♀️
Because the Communist/Feminist agenda is to cause women to hate and fear men. To achieve that, they have to lie. In his Communist Manifesto (1854), Karl Marx stated that the family had to be destroyed, because it was the foundational unit of a capitalist society.

Identity politics essentially. Because the idea that women have been suffering under a patriarchy for an unspecified amount of time, men have societal privileges that are either meaningless or difficult to prove. That greatly decreases sympathy for them as a whole enough for this and many more injustices like this to happen.
Have you ever heard of the Duluth model? It’s what police forces use to deal with domestic abuse cases and it’s protocol states that the man is to blame every time. If he has marks on him, they must come to the conclusion that the woman in the relationship was acting in self defense.
Probably because there are a lot more cases of domestic violence against women. But, it's unfair for those cases against men. I say all of them should be out there.
Yea, it's true the opposite also happens are more often than we think but I guess we don't hear that much about it because men feel ashamed to do so and maybe they don't have as many support as women have when they go through something like that.
Well most men will feel embarassed to speak up about it (especially the victims). They need to look past that. The other reason could be that the victims might lack sufficient evidence to prove it or might be afraid of not being taken seriously.
Because men who are abused are wimps. Why dont they just knock her the fuck out or toss her out and be done w her? I dont respect weak men and dont give a shit about what happens to those guys. I am more concerned with cops arresting men who defend themselves from women. Wtf? Men have zero obligation to use kid gloves for a grown woman who thinks she can assault a man.
One of my friends knew someone that thought exactly like that. He found himself drugged (the girl had another guy helping her spiking the drink), tied up and literally sexually assaulted. In that case, all tied up, against his will and obviously disabled (unable to do anything) what is he going to do? Or according to you he's still a wimp for letting that happened to him.
Say that when the girl has 10 hench men helping her wound a guy with weapons and he ends up dead. Seriously? You do live in a little bubble don’t you? I can’t actually even believe you’re 34 and this naive.
Hmm im 34 and never been aware of it realistically happening. Im sure it happens but mainly by some crack head psychos. Why would a man even be with someone like that? Now i have seen a ton of girls hit guys with objects. So im primarily talking about real life common things like that, not dream land 1 in a million scenarios.
I don’t know why people only showcase one side. It might be because men are told they’re weak if such things happen to them, and or because society thinks it’s more important that women are alright. Either way it happens to both genders, physically, verbally, emotionally and mentally. And all those things are awful, one isn’t worse than the other.
Yes that's true but like it or not men on adverage are more phisically imposing than women on adverage. That doesn't warrant either gender to use phisical violence but it does explain why it's more concerning for men to be violent.
Because most of the times women are the victims and also men can protect themself better due to physical advantage and so the society does not talk much about it. But of course we should also talk about domestic violonce against men to.
Because it interrupts the narrative that men are likely predators and will interrupt some of the massive fundin goin to mostly assistance for women.. What you say is true and yet there are only 2 shelters in the U. S, 1 of which is registered..
The truth is it happens more often than people realize. Apart from the obvious cases where women flat out beat men, consider all the times women aggressively hit, punch, kick, or shove men. Then there is phycological and emotional abuse. For example, how many times have you witnessed a woman being overly dramatic or angry to get her way? Women use the same nefarious tactics used by men to batter and abuse. Men are just expected to ensure and move on with their day. Women know this so it only emboldens them to continue. Ensure you are not mistaking social norms as being the right thing to do.

The most hardcore domestic abuse is men. But yes, recent studies suggest women can be abusive too. And I don't think we as a society are making it harder for men to come forward. Its their own sense of "masculinity" that keeps from seeking help.

This is the work of feminists, who have persuaded the majority of people that only women are victims, which is of course bullshit.
Yes - I think they are hypocrites.
i really think that domestic violence against men should be talked about more and taken more seriously

Because society is racist and misandrist.
Simples...
Yes that’s too true
No idea, but we definatly need to have more coverage on it in the news and stuff.
Because most of the times women are the victims and also men can protect themself better due to physical advantage and so the society does not talk much about it. But of course we should also talk about domestic violonce against men to.
It is like that because most men can overpower women so most people don't believe it when that happens.
Because it interrupts the narrative that men are likely predators and will interrupt some of the massive fundin goin to mostly assistance for women.. What you say is true and yet there are only 2 shelters in the U. S, 1 of which is registered..
Why? Bc men are physically stronger the majority of the time, and no, it doesn't happen just as often as it does against women lmao
Exactly

Because many guys are not comftble talking about it I dont think anyone is directly to blame
