Considering how much I love bacon i find it a waste to feed to a pig.
Plus the whole cannibalism thing is not a good idea.
That being said pigs would eat anything pretty much, throw a human body to the pigs and you won't even find a trace of it the next morning hence the saying "he eats like a pig".
As for the cruelty or animal abuse it's irrelevant since animals do not live by the same rules we do and their minds work differently. Not to mention this kind of pig is man made by some kind of cross breeding the true pigs are the wild boars you can find in the wilderness this kind of pig wouldn't even survive there

No smh. It cannot be abuse to feed them something they themselves would willing eat anyway in the wild because pigs are naturally cannibalistic. Due to the fact they eat everything and don't let stuff go to waste. They also would eat humans. shrugs
I can technically argue that even humans are naturally cannibalistic but that don't matter we decide it was wrong some time ago, but we 100% adapted to be immune to virus we would get from eating people due to in the past we eat a lot humans. But pigs still don't class it was wrong and never would there pigs.
Doesn't that just defeat the purpose? It's counter productive. That dude wasted a pig. Tbh pigs will eat anything they can chew, including bone. So I don't think they really care about bacon. But that's just pointless in my opinion. I would never do it just because I would be pissed if someone fed me any human remains.
I’m not sure because some animals engage in cannibalism and some don’t
if it’s not in their nature or way of living, then I do believe it is cruel and if you are doing it on purpose for kicks at the detriment of their digestive system or ignorance then at that point—the act is abusive.

It’s cruel from a human point of view.
pigs will eat anything, including humans.
they have also been know to eat each other in rare cases, shortage of food etc.
But this is a human feeding them something that they will not know where it comes from, this make is morally wrong and cruel.Pigs eat literally anything. It's cruel in our eyes but its not cruelty... Though im not sure if eating their own kind has any adverse effects on their digestive system.
I have a potbellied pig. We don’t feed him any meat at all. He gets his feed and fresh vegetables everyday.
But we did accidentally leave a large baggie with a whole pork loin where he could get it once.
He ate the whole thing. 🤦🏻♀️Yeah, that's kinda messed up. Then again, I see how much East Coast pigeons love fried chicken people leave on the street too (although pigeons and chickens are different). Still though, that's kinda messed up!
Well, do you want to eat another human? (Don't answer that for real unless you want FBI at your door 🤣)
I think that might fall under cruel and unusual punishment lolIts so sad how everyone is focusing on the feeding part, but not how a living pig was sliced up and fried to make the bacon in the first place :(
I heard the other day from an expert that we share 50% of our DNA with a banana. When you rhink about it like that every living thing is related. And just the act of eating could be argued as cannibalism. Now i'm not defending cannibalism. But i am saying that feeding a pig bacon kind of depends on your perspective that's all.
Pigs eat their own babies. So no, I don't think feeding pigs bacon is animal abuse. It's definitely a waste of good bacon, but that's it.
I think it's a complex thing because they can't tell. Also many animals eat their dead in nature. I think if we apply human morality to it then it's fucked up since most of us don't want to be hunted and eaten or have humans fed to us.
I think pigs are gross in themselves. Smart but still gross. Animal abuse maybe not but definitely not ethical.
Pigs will eat anything. It's a good way to get rid of all your kitchen waste if you separate the food waste from packaging.
I don't see how this can be cruel in any way. The pig is hungry and likes it, so how is it cruel? It's sickminded. How would you like it if your dad fed you his mother-in-law.
Abuse? Hell no! Pigs eat just about anything, including people! If it's food, they'll likely devour it and want more. If you raise pigs, you have to be careful not to over-feed them.
It’s not animal abuse but it’s really cruel
They don’t know what that isOink Oink I love bacon & I guess pigs do too. Feeding a pig bacon might be a form of cannibalism & now I wonder if chickens like chicken nuggets?
What's cruel is raising and killing the pig for its' meat. Compared to that feeding another pig said meat is just a drop in the bucket.
No. Pigs will eat and screw anything. They are natures garbage disposal.
Hence why it's disgusting that people will eat the things.Mad cow disease became an issues a while ago because we were processing cow parts, including brain and spine into feed for other cows. Turns out that it wasn't a great idea.
It’s foolish. Similar practices created mad cow disease, and Kuru in humans.
It feels really wrong, but legally speaking, you’re in the clear. Personally, I wouldn’t do it!
