America is founded on Classical Liberalism. Classical Liberals strongly believe in the individual pursuit of happiness. True Americans want to be free people that can pursue our own vision of what we think is right for our interests. That comes with a strong streak of self reliance and personal responsibility. We structured our concept of the rule of law based on individuality so that the law would protect us all from the tyrannical overreach of dictators in government who claim to be wise men that know more about what is beneficial to personal interests than we do ourselves and to provide shelter from the mob violence that is characteristic of a typical democracy. The same principles flow true in our capitalistic economic system. You can rise and fall on your own merits, but at the end of the day you are responsible for your own position in life. America is the land of the free and the home of the brave. We aren’t communist so get the fuck over it.
The left didn’t call the right “Nazis” until calling them “racist” stopped having an impact. It’s nonsense.
