Do I feel personally guilty... no. Does the world tell me I should? Yes. Do I care... not really. It's annoying, but most people don't really think white people are evil. Sure being white has it's advantages, but I didn't choose to be white anymore than someone chose to be another color. So why would I feel guilty for something that some people that looked like me did a long time ago? Do pretty people feel guilty? Do taller people feel guilty for not being short?

If your great great great grandpa was promised an acre of land and a mule from the government and never received it and you had proof of all of this you might try and get what was owed. The thing is it would be crazy expensive just to figure out who gets what. They’d have to prove the relation and the debt would have to be divided equally between all family members. Just figuring out the paperwork would probably bankrupt America let alone what the government would have to pay out especially with the money mess this country is already in.
