What is it about Donald Trump personality wise that some people can't see through this man for who he truly is as a person?

I only looked at what policies and governmental decisions he was making or going to make.
I couldn't have cared less about his personal persona or tweets. He was closing up and securing our national border... our "HOME"... the guy in there now has made it to where we do not even have a border. Any number of endless strangers are just flowing in non stop.
He took out ISIS and ended that issue in Iraq and had things pretty stable internationally. You see what the guy in there now did in Afghanistan. Let's yank out the troops as fast and as disorganized as possible and leave endless Americans stuck in there to be hunted down, tortured and executed.
Trump had the northern pipe line open. The guy in there now has shut it off and gas prices are soaring.
Trump was standing up to China. The guy in there now is in bed with China for his personal profit at the expense of the country.
I only voted based on the issues I care about. All of the personal persona is irrelevant to me. His personality? Who gives a sheeet.
He makes hateful people feel like their hate is a valid opinion that people should pay attention to. He makes stupid people feel like their stupidity is a valid opinion that people should pay attention to. And he makes brainwashed people feel like their brainwashing is a valid opinion that other people should pay attention to. They dont mind that they are being conned: the point is to do it together. It is comraderie among everyone the right wing infotainment has told is receded by mainstream society for being unreasonable.
Hateful people, like Antifa and BLM? Hatefull people like the ones who want to mandate medical decisions? How about the guy who is on camera groping little girls, who's son is a pedophile, who freely admits to using taxpayer money to bribe a foreign official?
I think for a lot of people, (at least the people I know who voted for him), they wanted a businessman who had never been in politics to have a go at solving some of our country’s issues. There was a certain appeal in that. Of course for many, Hillary Clinton was just not an option.
@spartan55 Tell me what Congressman does not retire a multimillionaire? You don't think most politicians are not into it for the good of the nation, but to line their pockets as well?
@spartan55 And Biden is not ignoring the Constitution when he mandates masks to be worn for something that is no more deadly than the regular flu? As a matter of fact you never hear of people dying from the flu or anything else. It's always Covid that killed them. Please!
@spartan55 What is worse is what hits the taxpayers in their pocketbooks. Inviting the whole world to the US at taxpayer expense is a bone head thing to do. Plus Biden likes spending money like crazy. No one is ever going to pay the National Debt off and we will probably go broke like Russia did. The current National Debt is over $28 Trillion. It would cost every citizen over $400,000 to pay it off.
@spartan55 OK, it's settled then. They are both bumpkins.
@Daniela1982
Fine by me. I'm no fan of Biden either, and didn't vote for him. I don't believe in this political divisiveness that has become the norm. Politics is too nuanced imho to be entrenched on either side of the aisle. I have some beliefs that are considered liberal and some conservative, but who knows anymore. I get called a libtard constantly just because I speak out against Trump, which to me is retarded. Trump is not conservative, he is about Trump.
He's just like every other politician. Smart, intelligent, business oriented and money lover. It's all about greed really.
I don't like him but I don't like Biden either.
Honestly, I can't stand politics in general. Politics fuck up everywhere!!

I agree with you 100% that's the reason why I don't like him because he's a loudmouth he acts like he's 5 years old and he's all the event and he's gotten away with it that's what pisses me off there are court cases did he has hired people to do his work for him years ago that still have not been paid and that's bulshit because of a good lawyer he keeps it dragging on and dragging on the other thing that pisses me off is he had an opportunity to become one of the greatest president ever and he fucked it he started believing all the hype and started to become one of the good old boys and he fucked it off
that's a lot of talking points from corporate TV. politics is about POLICY not character. donald trump could kill puppies for fun and if he gives me the policies i want... he gets my vote.
Old folks are suckers for the power of branding. Trump rebranded himself as the man that would save America from the NWO. He spoke the right words. He cast his spell. And geriatrics became bewitched.
Most of the left doesn't even still hold out hope for Obama the way that geriatrics on the right today hold out hope for Trump! It really is as if some witch cast a spell on them!
There's a reason I felt like the only sane man in my entire town last year, when I warned everyone to #Blankenship2020! Most of the left had no idea who he was; and most of the right was too enchanted into blindly following Trump, to even consider my proposal.
In other words trigger phrases and words produces magic. If it's all it takes to win the White House then the U. S. is in big trouble moving forward.
Funny, he is not a pedophile, doesn't have a son who is a pedophile, isn't on video admitting to using US taxpayer money to bribe a foreign official, isn't getting 10% of his son's business dealings with foreign governments, yet you are still fixated on Trump as the bad guy?
@genuinlysensitive : I'm saying we had options that were a lot better. Why settle for a man who only kept a tenth of his promises?
He only won by beating Democrats at their own game. But when it came time to deliver on his sales, he barely even did the bare minimum. Older folks look at how much more insane the Democrats were, and decided that Trump was their only hope. That even when he says on camera the opposite of what they believe about him, they swear it must be doctored somehow, because the idol of him can't be wrong.
Younger folks note we didn't get the Yuge Concrete Wall we were promised. In fact, he didn't even stop Biden from issuing orders BEFORE January 6th to tear the fence down! Biden hadn't even been sworn in, and Obama was already using him to rule as a shadow dictator! And Trump let it happen.
Then, CPAC made a Trump Golden Calf statue. And one of the biggest Trump gals I knew, admitted to me she was stealing a dentist from another woman, and made no apologies.
I have never before felt so validated in voting third party in my life. Then icing on the cake: natural born status, and legality for other reasons. The most constitutionally legitimate candidate on the ballot... was Jo Jorgensen of the Libertarian Party. Blankenship only qualified because his misdemeanor was from a mistrial, and he hadn't actually broken any of the laws he was accused of. His year in federal prison over a false claim by officials of a local misdemeanor was pure Obama corruption of the BOP. Basically, he was kidnapped, to intimidate other coal barons.
Trump and Biden both technically aren't legitimate to hold office. Kamala isn't legal either, as she's an anchor baby.
I can't understand some people's (Democrats') continued preoccupation with Trump. TDS is an amazing phenomenon. They ascribe every evil trait that they can imagine. Imagine being the operative word. They are obsessed with with his personality, though, and rather oblivious to his policies or actions, which aren't much different from his predecessor's.
It seems to me that Trump's personality is fairly transparent, as opposed to Obama, for example, who was completely dishonest and brutal, yet was the slickest con man of any previous president. The guy could sell refrigerators to Eskimos. Oh, but he sure fooled those type of liberals who are actually just mindless Democrats.
OMG. A privileged rich guy was an adulterer? Why don't Democrats talk about JFK or slick Willie?
by the way. I have what used to be considered liberal values. I'm not so much defending Trump as laughing at the mindless dumb fucks who think he is the personification of evil.
He is no choirboy and he may have the worlds largest ego. Even before becoming president he had a long string of accomplishments in business and entertainment. Yes, some of his business ventures failed but he still became a billionaire. It is argued that he only became rich because his father was. This is true to a point because a lot of people start out with a family fortune only to lose it by bad investments and mismanagement.
Yes, he is abrasive and can be a bully but he survived the New York real estate environment as well as being on network television and that is pretty much how you have to be.
@goaded So he made quite a bit of money during his life. I know everyone says he screwed everyone but I know somebody in the real estate business in NY and he was the same way. I think it is a way of life. This guy was always getting sued by somebody. I never really thought about it until Trump became president.
He was at least more honest with emotions. With most politicians you see just pre calculated reactions and tons of pretending and lies. Also, he's not that stupid like he seems, like media tried hard to portray him. He definitely wouldn't be able to succeed as businessman was it true. I watched some old interviews with him and Melania from the nineties and - what a surprise - how well spoken and normal they both seem. But back then it seemed media liked him more and was doing him lots of favour to promote him, they would ask polite questions, to expect nicer things from him and guess what, he'd reciprocate. As if everyone conspired against him when he won... At this point, I don't know if his bad traits were enlarged as a toxic consequence of him always being attacked and his dignity and family always stepped on and trashed in media and by the media... Or it existed in him in that exact scale earlier too. I think it might be a consequence to quite some degree of abuse by the media.
Yea reciprocates because they kissed his ass like he wants everyone to do.
Trump may be what you say he is but Biden is not doing that much better and is not keeping his promises. But then he's just a puppet anyway. At least Trump was doing something about illegal immigration instead inviting the whole world to the US at the expense of already overburdened taxpayers. Meanwhile Biden is making so Billionaires pay less taxes than a Walmart employee. Do we really need a President like that?
Hard to keep promises when ever you try to pass things and you get block for 4 by republicans try to keep him from doing anything. And vice versa. Both parties should end we should all just be independent like the founding fathers intended!
@Iknowbestgirls uuuuuh you don't get politics. you don't blame the people who don't vote for your policy. you blame your policy for not being popular
biden's spending needs to stop
He attracts less educated people.
He attracts the gullible.
He attracts the people with low morals.
These are the ones who either can't see past him or see him for what he is.
He is just like them, so they love him for it.
Maybe it’s more about the personality of the people who give him credit. They probably wouldn’t be able to see those same negative traits in other people as well. And, more importantly, not in themselves. Not to make an accusation, but it’s typical that if you don’t want to see something in yourself you will ignore that the thing exists. Since this is incredibly prevalent in the general population, it is a good campaign target for an unscrupulous person.
For a lot of people in this country, he validated their xenophobic and racist beliefs and that was very attractive to them. So it didn’t matter to them that he’s a liar or a con or a womanizer.
@Hispanic-Cool-Guy why did you upvote this? its a cowardly anonymous comment from the far left that just calls names and doesn't really say anything. its not true and politics isn't about character anyways
trump reduced immigration as we should. its good for the workers here
….. and 007kingifrit isn’t an anonymous screen name? We’re not getting your identity either pal. Why not your real name if you’re not a coward? As for immigrants, we’ve had worker shortages in various regions and industries that have persisted for years. We need Immigrants to fill those jobs. That’s a reality. I fully realize the people coming here are no longer white and that is a problem for folks in Trump’s crowd. Character does matter in politics. Those in leadership positions should have some scruples m. A guy who lies, steal, and cheats in his own life is going to abuse any power that you give him. Which is what we had…. a President who relentlessly pursued authority he didn’t have under the constitution and abused his position to try to hold onto power. Even now he doesn’t respect the will of the voters. Bad men do bad things. That’s been a constant throughout history.
anonymous is far different. at least you know MY opinions and can cross reference them with my other posts
it is a lie of the 1% left wing media that we have labor shortages
Illegal immigration drives down wages
www.politico.com/.../trump-clinton-immigration-economy-unemployment-jobs-214216
some will attempt to say immigration is good for the economy BUT this benefit only comes at lowering the wages of the poorest working americans www.marketwatch.com/.../new-extensive-academic-study-of-immigration-workers-and-taxpayers-lose-businesses-benefit-2016-09-21
a national small business survey found that as we decrease immigration small business owners increase wages and take extra steps to maintain their employees www.cnbc.com/.../...cern-for-small-businesses.html
A bank of England study found that for every 10% increase in immigration the wages of workers fell by 2% in the UK fullfact.org/.../
and don’t tell me they only take jobs that others don’t want because after ICE raided meat processing plants thousands of american’s applied for those jobs www.apnews.com/a2f7d00232bd408285f2f7e9c041cf1e
Lmao he is a decent human being. He never mandated anything and told people that basically freedom doesn't matter any more. Sleepy Joe did that & doesn't even care about the illegals coming into this country and they don't even need to be vaccinated yet he wants American citizens to follow his rules and get vaccinated? Decent human being alright 👌
I can see through him and still would vote for him
He's a fellow capitalist and voting for Killery was never an option
My morals are tied to my pocket and boy was he good for my pocket not global pandemic or economic crash good but still good
For me it's his childish ego. Him asking why he couldn't have as many nukes as we did during the cold war did it for me. He gets off on people clinging onto his every word and buying the trash that comes out of his mouth.
sounds like you might be the victim of fake news. a lot of corporate news stories about him and nukes were totally made up with "anonymous sources"
sorry i will never be a fan. i will NOT and i do NOT , i will NEVER support this HITLER in a suit
its so childish to call people hitler. he's not hitler. he did nothing comparable to hitler
wrong question. politics isn't about character. we accept donald trump is a bad person in his personal life
but... he did reduce immigration by 70%. and cut ties with china
politics is about policy
People know he was an adulterer, people don't care. Certainly never seen as a conman.
He's arrogant and rude.
Not much of a liar or a cheater. Hardworking, honest to a fault, though prone to exaggerating.
I was like what the hell too?
""Truth is truth, numbers are numbers," Fann said at a Senate hearing on the review, which found only small variations, yielding 99 additional votes for Biden and 261 fewer votes for Trump. "Those numbers were close, within a few hundred.""
www.reuters.com/.../
In other words, the original vote count was easily accurate enough and valid, and no amount of wishful thinking could change the result. People raised a hell of a lot of money off of the lie that they would find something, and they'll be passing legislation to make it harder for people to vote, especially people who don't vote for them.
No, I think I'm dealing with people totally detatched from reality. This is Reuters, we're talking about, and it's an exact quote. Would you prefer Fox News? www.foxnews.com/.../maricopa-county-audit-concludes-similar-vote-total-to-2020-presidential-election
(Of course, they neglect to mention that Binden's win widened, but you can see that at the bottom of page 2 of the report. c692f527-da75-4c86-b5d1-8b3d5d4d5b43.filesusr.com/.../2f3470_d36cb5eaca56435d84171b4fe7ee6919.pdf )
@goaded I don't care about the source, you do, I care what's in it.
And I care that it doesn't match what you said, as well.
So here's what the document actually says, which wasn't what you said:
trump biden jorgenson write in/over/under Totals
Maricopa County Forensic Audit 995,404 1,040,873 31,501 20,791 2,088,569
Official Maricopa County Canvass 995,665 1,040,774 31,705 21,419 2,089,563
DELTA (261) 99 (204) (628) (994)
Did you even read the document you just posted? lol!
Oh, yeah, that's just the hard tally without auditing the ballots, by the way, actually nothing in this file is about anything but and audit of the own reporting by the election officials, by the way.
You said "putin publication", but you don't care about the source.
It matches exactly what I said was in it. (261) means the audit total was 261 fewer votes for Trump and 99 means the audit total was 99 more votes for Biden, for a total of 360 votes more in Biden's favour (which he didn't need).
It's a far cry from all the ridiculous "leaked" figures from a month ago where places like the Gateway Pundit were lying through their teeth that Trump "really" won.
What makes him live rent free in your head?
And by they way, so much of the shit you believe about him is completely fabricated. That is why other people don't see it the way you do.
Some people are star-struck when they have access, however slight, to television personalities. That is, was, and always will be his only draw.
In other words he meets the qualities of most politicians!
politics isn't about character. its about policy. who cares what kind of person he is if his policies are good. reducing immigration is good for the working class
They see him as strong and dominant instead of an egomaniacal misogynist bully
bullies are essential for world leader positions. its the only thing that gets stuff done... look at how weak biden is and how he is walked on so easily by every country
@007kingifrit You mean because he doesn't try to force them to agree with him on everything?
they walk on him. and it damages global security and america's position in the world. look at the taliban. never wuda happened like that under trump
@007kingifrit No instead he has us destroy ourselves.
destroy ourselves? how
@007kingifrit let's see an angry mob trying to overthrow our government which only stopped when he publicly told them to. I am not saying he incited it, but you have to question whether he really did, when all it took for them to leave was his word.
the angry mob was nothing compared to the full year of angry mob created by left wing media over race riots
the media is tearing this country apart. not trump
@007kingifrit one tried to overthrow the government, one didn't
aaaactually the left did try to overthrow the government. remember the autonomous zones?
@007kingifrit Not specifically I do remember the second time ever people broke into The Capitol, and the first time ever citizens did. I don't recall a single time like that by citizens that threatened our country sans The Civil War started by conservatives.
so you don't remember the chapel hill autonomous zone where thousands of leftists declared themselves immune to the government and dozens of people were shot? it was only 15 months ago...
@007kingifrit Oh, yeah that. I just don't see how they sought to overthrow the government with that act. They just denied government authority. They didn't seek to overthrow it, just to be separate from it.
"i don't know how they sought to overthrow the government... they just denied government authority"
wow what mental gymnastics. if the idea had taken off and spread it would occur in more places and grow larger... denying government authority IS overthrowing the government
@007kingifrit No because they are leaving the government as is. They aren't seeing it as a power over them though.
they were not leaving the government as is. they burnt down a police station and seiged a court house for over 100 days... you're fuckin stupid man
@007kingifrit That is law enforcement, not government. Also the whole issue BLM had is with law enforcement. Furthermore, ebennif you were to argue that LEOs are members of government their level is different. They are county, city, or state officials. Their decision making power ends at the border. The members of Congress have decisi5maling power over the entire US.
law enforcement... is... government
@007kingifrit insofar as it enforces the decisions of government, but it has no power to make decisions.
... its government. stop making excuses for your wrongness. the left tried to overthrow the government. they declared themselves autonomous
@007kingifrit And didn't try to kill duly elected representatives.
... yes they did try to kill duly elected representatives
also; nobody in the fiery but mostly peaceful right wing protest tried to kill representatives. nobody entered the building with any weapon
@007kingifrit because a huge mob chanting "hang Mike Pence" doesn't actually want to do it?
and yet the left wing violence was far more widespread, killed more people, did more damage. it was a bigger deal.
and you overlook it
@007kingifrit I don't overlook it, but it was not an attempt to remove elected officials because your prefered candidate lost
no, it was just an attempt to literally dissolve the entire concept of government itself...
@007kingifrit BLM isn't seeking anarchy. They're seeking a fundamental change in the way blacks are treated by our legal system and law enforcement agencies
blm does seek anarchy. they just use that "fundamental change" as a cover
blacks are already the most well treated class by the police by the actual scientific studies. its just negative news about blacks makes national news more often giving you a false impression
@007kingifrit I am not saying that they are right, but they believe black. lives are marginalized in the legal system and they seek to fix that inequality.
in any event trump had nothing to do with you destroying yourself. the media is doing that to you
@007kingifrit It may be that he didn't incite the riot directly, yet he did indirectly and they took their marching orders from him. Until he told them to go home, they did not. That's indisputable. Since he announced his candidacy for the 2016 election he's been riling people up. It was only a matter of time until it became extremely violent. Maybe Rudy Giuliani or someone else tossed the final match, but Trump had started it years before.
stop trying to bring the conversation down a level to one example. the media caused the riot and they caused all the other examples of hate and violence we've seen in the past 5 years. they share negative news for ratings and they created many fake news narratives about trump that built up anger that had to be released
the media is dividing america. not trump. you're just blaming the reaction to the problem. not the problem
@007kingifrit Negative news has been media's bread and butter for longer than my life. So not just last 5 years. That's not a new thing.
yea, but now its 24/7 news + social media. this is new and its more directed than ever before with greater bias
@007kingifrit with the advent of shiposting news sites and the rise in social media, that is new, but news organizations focusing on dirty laundry isn't new.
You would never make this post about Biden, who's constantly lying to the public.
@goaded
Are you drunk?
Superb Opinion
