Why does my female coworker keep asking about my love life?

We used to hang out a lot outside of work. She knows that I was interested in dating her last year, but she wasn't interested and I have moved on since she got back together with her ex over the winter. We see each other and chat at work about once every day or two, and at least once a week she'll ask if I've gone on any dates or started seeing anyone. She knows that I haven't dated since March (I broke it off). She also knows that several girls have expressed interest in me since then (but I wasn't interested in them), and that I am getting over a crush I had on her ex-friend during the spring. I keep telling her that I'm taking a break from dating and that I don't have the money or the time to deal with a girlfriend right now, so why does she keep asking about my love life? its starting to get annoying.

dont listen to the idiot below he doesn't have any experience with girls and 92% he still lives with his parents. She does care about you and as when she sees that she can't get you she wants to be with you more, its human nature.

That's pretty un-called for man. You can disagree with someone without insulting them you know. anyway, thanks for your comment. I agree that women find a guy more attractive when he's not looking. but I'm not picking up any other indications that she is interested in more than friendship.

no problem but the it is not that uncalled for. that guy is a well-known troll and he is always supporting living with parents even though he's in his 30s so why not mention it he deserves it. He will go as for as to troll someone who had a major loss

could be. its just weird... I don't think I come across as unhappy because I'm not dating... I mean I have dating opportunities if I want them... I wonder if she just likes hearing the horror stories? heh.

There's probably some of the drama lust, most people have it, especially women.

But I really get the impression that she thinks you deserve to be MORE happy.
