So, how many people are buying this lady's farts in comparison to the population's size, and is there a concentration of rich and powerful people sniffing her fart jars?

If a good number of rich and powerful people, or simply a statistically significant percentage of the population is purchasing her farts, then it may indicate the direction our society is trending in some way besides fart purchases.

As a cultural marker, it may not be all that important. The underlying issues that caused the purchase of the fart jars probably already existed long before the fart jars were available for long distance purchase and delivery. My assumption is that the impulse to purchase is tied to a rare biological impetus.

This is true, As far as buying farts in a jar I doubt it’s a significant part of the population, Of course you do have other weird things like people buying Bella Delphines bathwater, there’s a great book called the porn generation that suggests that as a result of the sexual revolution starting the decay in our society has far as the relationship between men and women combined with the endless sexual images we can find on the internet results in people just looking at porn or buying a women’s farts or bath water online has lead to less coupling less marriage and is untimely detrimental to society as a whole.

Ironically this is one of the great but horrible things about capitalism (which I do support). However due to the combination of the sexual revolution and internet porn it just drive men and women into fantasy vs what they can get in reality. Most women don’t look like Krystal Boyd or vina skye. And most men don’t look are Channing Tatum or Chris Hemsworth. So our vision on reality and fantasy is very screwed
