I have not but my wife and I discussed it last night. I am not sure about it. I knew people in the jewelry business and and I heard that a lot of people get ripped off with gold amd other precious metals. Most of the time you cannot get what the item is appraised for.

If you buy gold chains , you pay much extra. I buy jewelry in auctions and wholesale , so it is cheaper. Actually , I did buy 2 Bullion Platinum coins today but usually I don't because of additional costs. But I have a reason why I did and that will be my next question. I can tell you Platinum is the best buy now. It is going to double or triple in price very soon. If we do have World War 3 , Nickel will be $75 a pound if not more. Pre 2014 Nickels are worth about 8 cents each right now.

I look at the current price of gold per ounce and iwould want to buy a gold bar of a certain weitght. I see places selling gold coins and say that the coin is worth more because it is rare. I think a coin is only worth what somebody will pay for it.
