I think the answer is yes because generally (not completely), everything is inherited, right?
Do you think intelligence is generally hereditary?

You buy knowledge. Our schools in the USA are directly funded by property tax and the people who have better property also have better schools. People who dont have good housing have worse schools in direct comparisons.
Poor keep being poor and the rich stay rich. Even if the rich parents die and the kid half assed it in school, the kid Inheritance the house for free home equity and there kids still have a better schooling. While the poor Inheritance debts from parents just getting by struggling to get in the housing market at all. Which directory impacts property taxes and thus school budgets and potential knowledge to give.
Knowledge is different than intelligence though.
Just go to wiki and look on sites it will give you an answer. That answer been yes. However to be clear this does not mean you can't have 2 parents who are dumb and there child be smarter them cause you can. Like in this quote,
"It is possible, for example, to inherit all the higher IQ genes from each parent and leave the lower IQ ones behind. Now the child will be brighter than the parent. And of course the opposite is possible as well resulting in a child with a lower IQ than expected."
So while inherited it's not exact. You cannot have all dumb people only give birth to dumb people. In fact if that was the case we wouldn't have such a influx of smart to dumb. It would just be easy separation of you guys are all smart and so will your family be and all yous are idiots and so will your family.
Right, that's why I emphasize generally.

There are different types of Intelligence. Broadly stated, one kind falls under Achievement while the other falls under Quotient.
50/50ish… An average intelligent father can produce a child that eventually grows up in Mensa. But the child would have had to been adopted out into Einstein’s family. I’m more in the nurture instead of nature camp.
I think it is hereditary but I think that parents encouraging reading and critical thinking in their kids have a bigger impact than genetics.
A huge chunk of it is. If both of your parents are idiots then you will have greater chance of being born a idiot too.
And vice versa if your parents are smart.
I would have to wonder where I have mine from :D
Conclusion: it's achieved - not ''forwarded''
were your parents intelligent?
What difference does that make?
could shine a light on your theory... lol
