I didn't give up, but I do take vacations from the news. It's been a couple of weeks for me.
I guess you can say I’m taking a vacation from the news as well & why start your day off with watching something so negative. Murders, shootings, assaults, no thanks.
Because I would feel like a fool if I didn't know that we are about to get into WWIII with Russia and China. I can't prevent this, but I still want to be informed.
Don’t get me wrong here I do like being informed but I like to be informed of the right information & not brainwashing shit. As for me I live in a hurricane prone area & before, during & after every hurricane my phone rings & it’s nice to know people still care. My friend called me & asked if I was ok & she said she was watching the news in my area about flooding & cars underwater & so much more. I laughed & said what the fuck are you talking about & I told her it sunny & 80. f & I’m out riding my bicycle. Somethings equal ratings I love when a news reporter films themselves standing in flood waters & they are really filming themselves standing in a ditch filled with water.
Common sense is anything but common.
Exactly & common sense nowadays is so unheard of with the exclusion of you & I of course & a few others. Some people are as sharp as a tac & some people are as sharp as a marble.
A guy posted a video to me today, and I couldn't believe how stupid the people were in the audience.
It really is beyond belief. Anyone with two brain cells can see it was a comedian on stage, but most of the audience actually thought this was real. I can hardly wait to show it to my brother tonight when I go over to his place for dinner. I'll show it to you if you want me to.

As for my bullshit detector it was going wild on this one & the laughter meter was moving as well. Not even a minute into the video I could tell it was staged & it’s highly possible the audience was staged as well. Hahaha.
Obviously the host and Bruno were in on this staged event, but I'm not so sure about the audience. If the audience was in on it, then they sure had no problem showing the world how stupid they are.

A guy on this thread attacked me for talking bad about government schools. He is a perfect example of the government's goal.
I work in higher education and I see the results of how bad the public schools are all the time. A lot of kids end up in college without learning how to write with proper grammar and spelling and they even have spell check to help them.
It always amazes me when people ask a question on this site and misspell every word, even though the site has spell check built in.
I talked to a teacher who was born in Hong Kong. He said that college was free, but you did NOT get to pick your major. The government told him he was going to major in electronics, and he did.
If only America could figure that out.
I work at a prison work release, and each prisoner has a mailbox slot. I put a flier in everyone's mailbox, telling them that if they had kids, the state would help them out at Christmas. One guy pulled out his flier, glanced at it wadded it up and threw it across the room. Then he said: "This is fucking bullshit."
I told him to get his ass over there and pick it up and throw it in the garbage, and then come talk to me.
When he came over I said: "I feel bad you never learned to read, but if you want, I can maybe get you into a class or at least find someone who can teach you to read." He just stomped off. And he is costing the tax payers about 50K per year to babysit him.
Public schools are awesome.
Yes, when people are failed by the school system they are basically unemployable and sometimes end up in jail or working in the Biden administration as a policy maker.

English was never declared the official language of America, and that's because of stupid politicians.
Just wait; when English speaking people become the majority in the US, they will pass a vote to make Spanish the official language.
The point is, there's still millions of people that were born & raised here decades ago and STILL don't know the differences between to, too, two and tutu or there, their and they're. For as smart as we like to think we are, how could that possibly be happening?
I was in high school with a guy that, SOMEHOW, STILL couldn't read any of the Dick & Jane books!! How the fuck did he get passed through the first 8 or 9 grades of school without being able to read on a 1st grade level?
In Jr. high, there was a kid that was 18 years old because he'd missed a lot of school due to illnesses in his younger years. Why did he have to learn all the stuff he missed to graduate but the kid that couldn't even read at the age of 17 graduated without learning al he needed to learn to pass?

My cousin's wife is a teacher, and we got into a debate on that. She said they have to pass kids in order to make room for the next batch. I told her that no one owes them a high school diploma. Just pat them on the back and give them a ribbon for trying, and send them on their way.
If schools don't do this, then saying you graduated from high school is meaningless.
If everyone gets to win the race, then the race is a waste of time.
Absolutely! If your job is to teach but it doesn't make a difference at all if the kids learn anything from you, what's the point of BEING teacher or even HAVING teachers... or even sending your kids to school? Why do I have to pay school taxes if the teachers aren't gonna bother doing their job because the "powers that be" don't CARE if they do their job? Especially since I don't have any kids!!
As for not having room for the next batch, in the first place, how much room could a handful of repeat students take up? Just build the classes AROUND the POSSIBILITY that it MIGHT happen! If it does, okay! You've got a few extra seats in the class! With that, a teacher's goal might then be to see to it there ARE no repeaters!!
That's the democratic playbook. Biden thinks were all stupid and can't see through his bullshit.
And Biden is dumb enough to think he's actually the president, but he's not.
