I've heard that Americans love our accent and stuff- is it the same for Canadians? What kind of stereotypes are there?
Thanks for your help!
Yes, I'd say a lot of Canadian girls like British accents.
I'm Canadian, and I don't really have any stereotypical beliefs about British guys. Just because people are from the same country doesn't mean that they're all the same. It would be like if someone said, "I really like Canadian (or American) guys!" There are so many different "types" of North American men, no one could claim they liked them all and actually mean it, they're probably just basing it on a handful of men from those countries that they've met (and a couple of people aren't representative of an entire country).
My roommate is British and I would never date him. He's a slob and I don't care for his attitude toward women. But he never seems to have a problem finding women that are interested in him, and I wouldn't doubt it if his accent helped him out in that area, since a lot of women find British accents sexy and/or charming.
But I don't let my roommate affect my opinion of all British men. :P
I'm pretty much neutral to them, although their accents can be pretty adorable. When I think "British", I tend to think conservative but fashionable... not sure why.
Hope you have a good year in Canada, by the way. :)
Whereabouts exactly are you headed?
british accents are awsome :)
where are you going?
You are going to be getting a lot of sex my friend. Canadians love the English accent so much that they're even more receptive to being buggered!
Come to America instead, it's much better. It's like Canada, but without the detriment of having Canadians.
