I'm straight and I don't feel threatened by LGBTQ people. I support them. Whereas a lot of the people who secretly are a part of that group, feel threatened and shout out the loudest that they don't support them. If you are truly straight there is no reason why these people who feel like a threat to you or whatever.

Yeah, it's actually been a statistically proven fact that many of the most staunch anti-LGBTQ homophobes are in fact heavily closeted - in some cases, even to themselves.

There's even current evidence with that contraversial young wheelchair bound Republican guy. He's a staunch opponent of LGBTQ but he actively engages in crossdrrssing and gay sex.

I get it, though. My mother is a homophobe and I was raised Roman Catholic. I thought I was straight until I was 27, when I finally reached a point where I was safe enough to admit to myself I liked girls (and that I don't care about gender or form as much as soul).

It took me a long time to get over the hateful programming that came from my upbringing. Some of these homophobes haven't extracted themselves from their hateful upbringing, so they often will repress their true feelings - and that also doesn't help their mental health. So they end up unhinged and hateful out of the ordinary.

Most straights with a healthy relationship with sexuality think like you.

Yes, I've noticed that. They know they're gay but they hate that fact so they feel that they need to attack LGBTQIA+ people to feel better about themselves. They're bullies.
