This is a vent. I’m a little pissed off. I am pro choice 100% and believe it is the right of a woman if she wants to abort or not but often, pro choice women dehumanize the unborn baby to a point I don’t agree with. They call the unborn baby “a fetus” or “a clump of cells” or “it’s not alive.” Etc. You have heard all the name callings, I’m sure. You can accept the fact that this is still a human life or at least potential human life and still be pro choice. Don’t hide behind your consequences by labeling the unborn baby as something that dehumanizes it.

I won’t ever defend a pro choice person ever again nor will I ever vote to obtain abortion rights. I will vote against it entirely because of how toxic the pro choice community is. You are on your own. I was the good guy. I was the one who voted, protested and went above and beyond. I’m not doing that anymore. A pro choice member was lost today. I’m done. I’m not going back again.

I sincerely think I’m pro abortion since there are various reasons to not wanting to keep the baby, a pregnancy can occur as a result of a rape, or as an error… and an unwanted son can grow really bad. It’s better to have sons when both parents are ready and are sufficiently grown to make him grow up healthily, also there needs to be economical stability, since a baby is a BIG expense. There are also health issues for the woman, in some cases pregnancy is a danger for health. Obviously I’m not pro indiscriminate abortion, there has to be an evaluation of the cases.
I sincerely refuse to call the fetus or the unborn baby a “group of cells”, it’s always a nascent human, but I think in general it’s up to the woman to decide of her body what to do, since it’s her to bring her baby for almost an year, and later it’s her who grows the baby, it’s a very delicate matter.


I’m not American so I don’t know very well about the attitude of pro abortion people, I can say here in Italy there’s a lot of hypocrisy about that despite being abortion a recognised right by law, since we have Holy See. There are very few between politicians and famous people openly sided with the right to abortion and we have a whole lot of doctors that are conscientious objectors and refuse to operate the pregnant woman, so there’s a big number of unwanted pregnancies that aren’t interrupted.

I'm pro-choice too, but so many pro-choice women act like the father is irrelevant or should have absolutely no say-so in the right of that child, but then also want him to pay child support and financially f*ck him over. I'd be fine if they could stick to one mindset instead of being so f*cking hypocritical with the double standards. Are fathers relevant to a child's life or not? Pick one.

I also think any woman who has more than one abortion in her life is likely a horrible person. I'm all for them up to five months, but an abortion shouldn't be taken lightly and it shouldn't 100% be up to the woman's choice, even if she should still have a great majority in the choice of the abortion. The father should have SOME legal rights to his unborn child, but the pro-choice Liberals are so misandrist and hateful towards men, it's disgusting.

I'm still pro-choice because forcing someone to raise a child they don't love and never wanted is emotional torture and beyond barbaric for both mother and child. I just hate many "pro-choicers" out there because of their completely lack of responsbility.

Me regarding the speaker in the video... I don't argue that a fetus or embryo is alive or not. I argue whether it is a conscient human being or not. A fetus or embryo is something that is in-process of developing into a human being (a baby), but not there yet.

And in my understanding, that happens right before the third trimester, which would be around six months. That's also when it becomes conscient and has the same brain functions as an infant. It is essentially a vegetable, or "brain dead" before it develops brain activity.

The thing inside that pregnant woman is an embryo prior to 2 months, and between 2 to 6 months, it is a fetus. It can only be called "a baby," at minimum, 5 and a half months in.

So my simple counterargument to her or any pro-life person is:
A fetus/embryo becomes a baby right before the third trimester. Before then, it is a pre-developed baby, NOT an actual baby.

Or, to use a simpler analogy:
First you get the chicken egg. Then the chicken. Then the fried chicken wings. You can't call an omelet the same thing as hot wings.

However, this is not to say people can't, and don't, value the life of an embryo or fetus. But it is not a baby.

Many of us do recognize that it is potential life but we still think there should be choice for various reasons. It’s always the ones with the loudest voices that get heard the most and they tend to be the most toxic. If we consider a fetus to be alive, what about an unfertilized egg? It is certainly also human cells with potential for real life.
What about sperm? It is also very much human, living, cells.

This little video really is not the own people may want it to be. It does highlight the need for when we consider something alive and this is how most european countries do it. We look to science, discussion. Decide that at this stage it is acceptable and at this stage it is not outside of extreme circumstances. As usual with most debates in the U. S you could look at how the rest of the world solved it.

I saw an interview with a pro choice woman on TV. The interviewer asked her abortion at anytime during pregnancy. She adamantly said woman’s choice. Then she was asked, even after birth. Her words again were “Woman’s Choice!”
Then the interviewer said “What about up to two years after delivery? She again said “Woman’s Choice !”
I guess that you can’t fix stupid!!
Someone should have called her mother and asked if she wanted to abort her daughter that was doing the interview!

This is my issue with pro choice as well. The level in which they try to not take responsibility, to not feel guilt. You are murdering your unborn child, you should feel bad. It feels almost inhuman to do everything you can to not feel bad about it. I’m pro choice as well and personal relationship wise pro life. I personally find it unethical and not virtuous to abort. If I have a kid on accident, that’s my burden to bare and I have to step the fuck up and give it a good life. Agree. I wouldn't say I was the guy to support pro choice demonstrations but I wasn't against them either. But I agree too many women today just want the option to abort just because. And too many women treat it like just taking a pill.
FACT: 51% of abortions are done in pill form.
I'm not suggesting we make it more medieval. But I am saying that abortion has become routine to women who support abortion. They've dehumanized it to the point that it's a CHOICE not a LIFE!
