Do you agree my neighbours builders should clean this up and notified me before they proceeded with this building work?

In the UK we have terraced houses meaning they are joined, but at the back the middle to the end of the house isn't, someone just bought the house next door and they made a new window opening by breaking the wall amd lots of debris and rocks have come into my back garden and my kitchen window was opened while this was happening, my mum was working from home in my office today so she told me and I saw the evidence and took pictures when I got home

My mum did close the window but don't you think they should have at least told us so we could close the window, dust and debris has gone into the new kitchen

I am knocking on their door tomorrow and they are cleaning it up and if they refuse all hell is going to break loose and I'll report them to every department imaginable

I spoke to them, very nice guys and they are cleaning it up! They apologised and said they will let me know in the future

Guys, guess what. They did it again this morning and I told them off. Our window was wide open, and they didn't bother to let me know as promised. First time I was nice, second time I raised my voice if it happens again im not going to be nice

As terrace houses are typically council houses that may be hard. Lots of people on the dole (welfare) in them and well they're oftentimes without manners.

They should have had the consideration to inform you, but they may not have realized that the project entailed. Most home owners are clueless about renovations.

Sometimes the other side gets ignored. But it's alright you can politely ask them to clean it up for you.
Also they would be your neighbors, no need to make enemies for just a small thing. It's not worth fighting for.
