I absolutely hate this double standard.

I was really hoping to see a few more female responses on this one. Even if they disagree I would like to know their reasoning.
So far there is only one female response it was 100% horrible (and it proved this guy’s point).
I do have a serious problem with women who get drunk and consent to sex only to regret it the next day and then call it “rape”. Some of them even initiate sex in these scenarios too which is even more ridiculous.
Why is man always 100% responsible in these in this situation? Feminists conveniently go from calling women independent and capable to helpless victims.
Much different story if a girl is passed out on a bed and so incapacitated she doesn’t know what’s going on. I do want to make that one clear. This sometimes happens on college campuses and I am not okay with that at all.
However that’s not how most drunken hook ups happen though. Usually both people know what’s going on but their inhibitions are just lowered. Plenty of guys regret hooking with girls while drunk too. But you don’t see us calling regret “rape”.
@MCheetah there were a few other female responses that were better.
Feminists have turned partying and hookups into Russian roulette for guys though. Chances are you will be okay but there is always one chamber that has a live round.
I don't have an answer to your question. I assume it's just because the way we look woman (weak = victim. The naturally more empathetic sex, therefore not capable of being the aggressor) vs the way we look at men (the physical superior sex = impossible to be a victim, under any circumstances.) Although the man's reputation will most likely take a hit, fortunately it is very unlikely that he will be convicted just because he was accused.
Drunk sex is not automatically considered to be rape. In order for someone to be considered legally too drunk to consent, they would either have to be passed out unconscious due to voluntary alcohol intoxication (unconscious people cannot consent) or they would have to be so out of it that they don't even know what's going on.
Proving that one was too drunk to consent is incredibly hard in a court of law. Judges tend to be fairly prejudiced against victims who were raped due to voluntary alcohol intoxication.
Did you see that anon bitch trying to make it out like im a rape apologist?
She received a downvote from me.
Reading comprehension skills: 0
agreed. Seems she's too much of a coward to respond.
I absolutely loathe rape apologist, I'll immediately call out even the most subtle victim blaming/rapist sympathizes - nothing about your question was even remotely suggested that you are looking for an excuse to rape women. Fuck her, dude.
agreed!!
The bitch had my comments removed. So I deleted her thread.
As you should. I wonder how many false rape accusations she's made. She's probably the kind to say she was sexually assaulted because a man asked for her number.
She probably has made bad choices in her life and has regrets, and it’s both cognitively and financially easier to transfer that responsibility to men than it is to accept that she is responsible for the consequences and handle it accordingly.
Thanks for MHO
If that poster was true hardly anyone would get fucked on a Friday night. What is intoxicated? One drink, 2 drinks... fair enough if she's legless or passed out but saying " I had a couple of drinks, offered a guy sex now I'm sober it's rape " isn't going to get you much sympathy. After all you're still responsible for stuff you do drunk. What are people supposed to do? Breathalyses each other?
The reality is unless there's physical damage it's hard to prove rape. Too many real rapists get away with it because the police are bogged down with crap like this they spend weeks investigating before dropping due to lack of evidence.
That poster IS true though. There are plenty of men in prison for rape under this context. The hypocrisy is that even if “Jake” was drunk, and “Josie” was not, she can have sex with him without his consent. And not only will she never be charged with rape, she can hang him out to dry over child support as a result of the rape. It has happened and it does happen.
I find myself happily surprised by you for a change. Well done.
Also, something to note, In the US. a man cannot legally be raped by a woman, because of the definition they use to assess rape. There is no "Made to penetrate" part. So when i was drugged, knocked out, and woke up to some girl riding me, legally she was not raping me. Even though it was rape. I was violated. And because of that i do not trust women.
@Chazmatazz269 Exactly right and proof positive feminist seek dominance and not equality.
Because at the end of the day, he is inserting his penis into her. I don’t disagree with what you are saying, but that’s pretty much what it comes down to, I think.
It takes away agency. It says that only men not women can be held responsible for their actions essentially infantilizing them.
If you or anyone supports that kind of thing, reducing women to children, I have zero respect for that.
Blue Anonymous, I gave the thinking behind it. I didn’t give my own opinion,
Oh lol sorry for jumping to conclusions.
My OWN opinion is that if both of them are intoxicated, they need to keep their bottoms on.
Agreed. I refuse to do anything with my wife when either of us is drunk. No matter how bad we both want it.
Exactly! I want to be sober enough to enjoy my husband. (And remember it the next morning)
Yes exactly!

I suppose maybe there is an implicit assumption that a woman does not need a man's consent. If you think about the double standard, it is built upon the assumption that women are weaker than men.
Reasoned response as always
Good point.
Soceity, the media and the law treat women like mentally challenged children that can't be responsible for their own actions and are automatically the victim even when they are the perpetrator.
Agreed and 😂😂
I assume its because its typically men plugging in the USB, so the blame is placed on the usb owner
the poster is bullshit though, neither of them could consent - so there's no reason to only focus on Josie as if Jake was completely sound of mind and did it on purpose
honestly I've never seen 2 drunks having sex be labelled as rape, where is this poster from?
@jdbslaoq “plugging in the USB”. That’s funny, even though the subject matter isn’t.
Me looking at most of the women sit here and make excuses for this horsesh*t.
Feminists are sh*tty, garbage people. Usually upper middle class and privileged too. Don't ever listen to what feminists have to say, unless they're being ironic. The woke crowd are horrible, hateful people.
Usually because guys are far more likely than women to become sexually predatory than women when drunk. Plus drunk is literally anything where alcohol has adversely affected your mind. So she can be black out drunk and he could be just a bit drunk, rape her, and thus is guilty of rape. That's frighteningly common at college parties.
After Jake's arrest, Josie went out and got drunk again, then drove herself home. She was too drunk to consent to drive, so her car was arrested.
Feminist logic 101, man.
That shouldn’t be considered rape tbf. They chose to get drunk… if your drink was spiked it’s different.
Aristotle held people doubly responsible for things they did wrong while drunk, because two bad choices were made.
no one thinks that's rape though... only extreme feminists do
You’ll find that feminism and double standards are synonymous, and this crosses cultures age ranges and waves.
Uhm. Given the awful amount of times that I get/got drunk and she didn't, I could sue least two women for raping me.
Because feminists’ idea of equality means equal rights and privileges, but not equal responsibilities and sacrifices.
Because sexism. This is a bad double standard that needs to end.
Thank you for recognizing that.
Why because women get choices men get responsibilities. Its not fair but life isn't fair. This is why good men are checking out of the dating pool leaving women with creeps, incels, and alpha bros who bang you and bounce the next day.
Because when they’re both drunk guys are almost always the ones hitting on girls and girls are the ones not wanting to be hit on. That’s why.
And that alone is basically an example of a notion one use to downplay the issue if the role is reversed. Your only proof is "because guys usually do it" without seeing the actual situation. It's either you're ignorant of how much a guy can also get falsely accused or you just don't care about that.
@Aiko_E_Lara in the unlikely event a drunk girl tries to pressure a drunk guy into having sex with her I agree she should be held responsible too. But that doesn’t happen very often, at least not at the high school (and one college) parties I’ve been to.
And how would you even know when you're already trying to downplay that issue? It is actually proven that when girls try to harass guys, people don't really take it seriously and there are social experiments showing it so that could mean that girls can do it except people cannot see it because they overlook it. The main reason why society would try to help the girls more than guys has nothing to do with what you think the likeliness are but there is that phenomenon called "women are wonderful effect" where Society always believe that women are the innocent one also because it had been programmed in us to safeguard women because they're the only ones who can give birth while men can. A woman can only give birth only a few times in her life while a single man can impregate hundreds of women at a time so that's why a ratio of more women than men can help the world repopulate faster than vice versa and that's why women are safe guarded while men are disposed. It's a survival thing and still in our DNA. What you're giving to me are anecdotes which do not really prove anything because I can also make anecdote saying I've seen more women trying to pressure men into having sex
@Aiko_E_Lara whatever
Like it or not, facts don't change.
@Aiko_E_Lara that’s not facts. All that stuff is just your opinion. I don’t even want kids till I’m like thirty. And you’re just making those anecdotes up. Mine are real.
Ok these are opinions. www.youtube.com/watch www.youtube.com/watch And I won't be surprised if you just say those people are fake and holograms. But this article is basically talking about those social experiments which can give further analysis to those statistics you'd claim en.wikipedia.org/.../Women-are-wonderful_effect
You know it's not different if I also just say mine are real while yours are fake. It's not different if i say my claims are real because i said so just like what you just did. You can't even explain what makes you truer to those studies shown. I trust those sources over a random 16 year old in G@G
Dude, you know what it makes you if you speak out against this double standard... a MISOGYNIST!
Kidding, of course. The answer to your question is western societal gynocentrism.
How is a woman responsible for any other act she does while drunk except sex? They can't drive drunk.
They expanded the definition of rape so much. Probably so they can claim 2/3 college girls get raped? Or whatever insane number they have. Its more like 1/125
Its extreme toxic feminism
Yea i think any sex had after a drink is now rape. Even without regret
I think Josie raped Jake.
Women are a paragon of virtue and could never do wrong.
It's a tacit admission that they know that the man's consent means jack shit legally and that it should stay that way. This is the movement for gender equality folks.
To put it simply, its because women are seen as pure, innocent prey and men are seen as predators.
