So in 2024 we will either get Trump back or another republican who hopefully is almost as great.

With a no craps given attitude about political consequences a blizzard of executive orders could fix a lot in a hurry. The problem with that approach is the next guy just un-orders all your orders and the little people trying to clean up the mess just get jerked around every few years. The left un-ordered a lot of Trumps policies with their own flurry of orders, and that’s how we got into the situation we are in. The existing system of checks and balances works, see the Supreme Court finally doing its job recently. People’s attention spans don’t have time for that though, so they just drop orders like confetti s a run around the legislative process.

I think what Trump did was prove that one guy to get a lot of stuff done if you do not have to make all the backroom deals that lifetime politicians make on a daily basis. Trump did not care who he pissed off as long as the job got done.

He will do the same in 2024 and maybe since a whole bunch of Trump Republicans will be in the house and Senate he might get a lot more done.
