At Stetson Middle School, located in West Chester, Penn, boys were encouraged to wear dresses during gay pride month.

At this school, students are NOT allowed to wear shirts displaying the American flag or Blue Lives Matter flags, but one male teacher likes to march through the cafeteria, waving the gay pride flag.

Also, one boy was disciplined for wearing "Uggs" to school, because they don't meet the dress code. But the gay pride flag-waving man wears high heel stilettos to school.

A few parents pulled their kids out of that school, and put them in a private school. But not all parents can afford to do that, so they are left to just let these woke rejects teach their children.

A man on this site told me his son knows more about pronouns, than he does about math, reading and science. (China is laughing at us)

The only answer is to offer school choice. Let kids go to private schools if they want to.

How will their parents pay for it? They won't. Just like they don't pay for public schools. The government would give the parents a school voucher worth the same cost of public education. Let the parents decide. Do they want their kids to go to private schools, or do they want them going to woke government schools.

And before you tell me that private schools would cost more than government schools; take the time to research it.

I guess I have to spell this out. Your kid did not ask for this or want it. The school wants it. The school wants YOUR son to do this. Would you encourage him to do it?

I can't see how uggs break school dress code. Unless maybe they were worn in place of running shoes or in an environment where steel toes would be required.

I don't know about encouraging kids to wear certain clothes for pride in general. Let kids wear what they want. If that means some boys wear dresses or skirts to show solidarity or to express themselves, great! If girls want to put on facial hair make up, cool!

But let kids be kids. They deserve the experience of driving their own destiny at this point.

That said, prohibiting US flags, cop shirts and such is a good idea. Especially in the US, those aren't peaceful or neutral symbols like the Pride flag. Those are emblems of White Supremacy, White Nationalism, and the fascist rise of neo-Nazi America.

The teacher flying the gay pride flag? Iconic. He's not harming anyone, he's taking a significant personal risk, and he's letting everyone know he's a safe ally. If somewhat obvious.

Parents who aren't comfortable with these probably shouldn't be allowed to pull their kids. Controversial, sure, but those kids are probably the ones who are most in need of this kind of environment.

If parents are so concerned from just a flag, they're really the types to believe misinformation and 90s propaganda about 2SLGBTQIA. They're likely racist and sexist, too (statistically a large overlap) and they're going to teach those behaviours to their kids.

It's important kids learn about the world young. This means learning about uncomfortable things for their parents - like previous revolutions, civil wars, actual history, different cultures and people, and sexualities.

School isn't there to be comfortable. School is there to prepare children for the real world.

The real world, in America, is that your rights as a citizen are constantly under attack. Standing up against neo-Nazis, fascists, and homophobes is an every day facet of life. And it's going to become more vital for kids to have the strength of will to fight as the GOP becomes more entrenched.

This school is showing their students how to stand up for the soul of their country.

My kids attend (ed) both public and private schools. The woke crap has even made its way to Catholic school, but not as saturating. Many low income households can qualify for tuition assistance from private schools, but it's the middle earners that suffer (we didn't qualify).

I do feel we should have a choice, but here is my concern;

In Ohio we have EdChoice. A lot of our students come to us from public schools. I’m not aware of anything that extreme happening in our public schools, yet. But some of our parents have shared plenty of horror stories about many issues they have had to deal with. Sadly, our EdChoice only covers schools that are failing at the most basic levels. I would like to see it expanded.

Now then, for the parents who think “I could never afford a Parochial/Private education for my student”; please look around! Most Parochial/Private schools have grants and other options to help make it affordable. But you do have to ask!

I just meant that private schools are actually cheaper than public schools. In my state it costs about $18,000 per year to send your kid to the 3rd grade. The way I see it, any qualified teacher with the proper teaching certificates, should be able to open a private school. Even if they only have five students in their home, it would be better than this government joke of a system.

So let's say the "Katherine School" opens up with 20 kids. Parents would come to you and you would have to sell them on your school. What does your school have to offer?

*We teach core subjects, and leave our politics at home.
*We don't talk about alternative sexual lifestyles
*We celebrate all the holidays, including Christmas.
*We don't tolerate bullies. Bullies will be expelled the same day they bully.
*We have an American flag in every classroom.
*Our school is color blind. We don't even mention race.
*We don't focus on sports or physical education. We focus on academic excellence.

Parents would be standing in line just to get on your waiting list for enrollment.

If my kids were still in the system I would probably have them in privates schools. When my wife and I were looking at towns we wanted to live in we did a lot of research about the local school system and we ended up in a town that was pretty expensive but had good schools that had excellent graduation rates and did well in standardized tests. To your update: I will have to contact parents of as many children as I can and set up a protest or petition or fundraiser to stop the school or whoever is behind this. Depending on what happens, I will have to research what other steps we can take to fight against this.

My update was because a woman on the site keeps thinking this is about supporting her kid's wishes.
That's a completely different question. The school is pushing this agenda, not the kids.

What I find crazy is that the left is almost trying to force kids to change who they are. So lets say all the boys become girls, and all the girls become boys. Then will the left be happy, or will that force them to change back? I just wish they would shut the fuck up and teach like they were paid to do.

Yup. The good news is that I have a relative who homeschools their child. She offered to help me and give me some tips when the time comes and I have children of my own.
