How would you react if your teenage son wanted to wear makeup?

When I was a teenager I had guy friends that wore makeup (mainly eyeliner, eyeshadow, and some wore the face paint) and painted their nails whenever their bands had a gig. Other than that that was the only time they wore makeup, normally they did not. How did their parents feel about it? Well two of my guy friends mom were okay with it, they just hated the fact that they were using their makeup. Meanwhile, their dad's hated so much and was hoping it was a phase.

nobody would have stopped me to wear makeup, if I wanted to do so myself...

life is about choices, so you must guide instead of repress, oppress or suppress individualism

my responsibility as a parent and as a person would be to make sure that their choices are authentic and genuine, rather than misguided or wrongly influenced and of course... not actually dangerous, OR harmful to others

other than that, love is love, and we sure are what we are...

I don’t have kids but if I did and he wanted to wear makeup I’d support it but I’d also be sending him to a makeup tutorial or a family friend to teach him how to apply it because I don’t wear makeup and am inept when I attempt to use it
