One of my friends that I've known for about 34 years is convinced that my brother and I would be kings or warlords or some shit like that if we were born 3 or 4 thousand years ago. He says we have no business living in modern society hahaha
I've always had this weird sense that I was supposed to just tie knots in sails all day. Just keep the sails taut and the wind behind them. And then eat hard bread and drink disgusting grog and try to catch a few hours sleep before doing it all over again.
I always have since I was a kid. Especially with some of my interests and skills, it seems like I'm better suited to being a Native American hunter/warrior, viking, or a Scottish Highland warrior. But I also might've died in battle during past times, so I'm fine with living now. I just have to learn to make the best of it. Becoming a firefighter might meet some of my needs.
No. It's better to be born at some point than not at all. Also, i feel being born where there wasn't even Saturday morning cartoons would not be a great time at all

Nah I mean even the absolute best of the past seem like discount versions compared to what we have available now.
Yeah maybe at times, at least on that one episode on Star Trek you could travel into the past into any time period you wanted to live in
