There are so many people and institutions, the White House (BIden), stores, etc. that lie about anything and everything. My apartment manager lies to me about everything just to placate me. Then that's as far as it goes.
I don't lie, so you can imagine how this would infuriate me.

I find the propaganda to be so over the top and on the nose now that it’s laughable. Eventually we’re going to see more violence and targeting of political opposition. People being labeled as domestic terrorists—though it all only goes one way, of course. Double-standards are not only the norm, they are the standard operating procedure for those who feel they have righteous indignation to stop the people trying to “destroy democracy.” Outrage is being weaponized, so that any reaction is portrayed as an escalation. Eventually the union will divide.

I would say yeah. But honestly I'm quite detached from that. I wouldn't say the idealist in me is dead but let's just say he's bound and gagged and chloroformed. I'm a realist.
