If it's that much of a problem that private business will become nationalized.

You do understand majority of utilities are a private for profit business that get contracts from local or state agencies? Because they are contracted by the state and privately owned and basically a monopoly on any given area with zero competition will result in the worst service possible.

In my area the electric company has elections for the positions in power. Kinda like a credit union compared to a bank. So my own electronic company values votes or public opinion over profits. So my area has rock solid coverage for electricity in the harshest winter storms. In -60 below zero i know I'll have warmth in my own home.

Yes, any state that cannot provide reliable power to it's citizens gets placed into receivership by the federal government until they can upgrade their electrical grid.

Or go back to an electrical grid that worlds with coal and gas, it would effectively ban green energy

I would not be adverse to green energy provided it was reliable.

That is like trying to make rain illegal. It just wouldn't work. Unles you mean a deliberate shutdown of the whole power distribution system.

No you would just shut down the windmills and solar panels and you would have no choice but to use fossil fuels.

No, that would be an overreach of federal powers, powers that are reserved to teh individual states in teh US Constitution.

I’m not an expert on this. Seems like rolling blackouts are best. If experts say to roll the blackout statewide in order to save the most lives, so be it.

Right a lot of that has to do with green energy about 21% of Texas energy comes from green energy, form what I understand it powered the main parts that where hit during that state wide black outs.

My town in Washington does a brief power black out about once every 10 years actually love it when it happens because the stars are beautiful. I’m in very very rural Washington look up the simcos

How do you know its alt energy fault?

Because of they way most Alt energies work, if you don’t have Scandinavian style winds your not going to get good energy from wind energy, So you end up with a complete reliance on solar which can’t power millions of homes without covering the ground for 1000 miles of solar panels,

The reality is there only 1 type of alt energy that can sustainability that can power millions of homes consistently for 50-100 years if you built the equipment right, we didn’t have the right endangering for it back in the 50’- early 2000s but the work my dad did helped devolve new technology that you can use the same energy for 50-100 year with out having to replace it and you don’t have to replace the entire technology all you have to do is remove the old Rods and replace them, France get 70% of its energy from this source of power but democrats are afraid of it, Of course I’m talking nuclear energy. The reason why I got to go to Japan in 2012 was because my dad knew what he was doing when it came to Fukushima

Basically it would effectively make solar and wind power illegal, under coal power plants and nuclear there would be no state wide blackouts,
