Can you name even one thing the Queen actually accomplished for the country or the people during her reign?

They're going on and on about all the wonderful things she did for the country, but they don't say even one thing she ever did.

I'm sure she was a very nice lady, but other than being a tourist spectacle, did she ever do anything to help people with jobs, money, food, electric bills, health? She lived on billions and billions of dollars over 70 years while much of the country lived in poverty. What's the purpose? Anything?

They say King Charles doesn't have time to mourn the death of the Queen because he has to get right down to business. Doing what? What's he going to do on Tuesday? Next week? Next month? What is so important that he has to get right to it?

Establishing the Commonwealth

By the time Elizabeth ascended to the throne in 1952, the British Empire was already in rapid decline. As explained by The Imperial War Museums, prior to World War II, Britain had maintained a vast empire of colonial holdings and a reputation as a world power. As noted by Politico, at its height, the British Empire held 57 colonies or other territories comprising about a quarter of the land mass of the world. But after teetering on the verge of total defeat and emerging into a new world dominated by the United States, Britain found its empire too expensive and difficult.

A rapid list of former colonies began breaking away and declaring themselves independent states, beginning with India in 1947. Although the process of establishing what's known as the Commonwealth began in the late 19th century, according to Britannica, it fell to Queen Elizabeth II to guide the country through a rapid acceleration of the process. When she was crowned, the Commonwealth had eight member states. Today there are 54. That means that Queen Elizabeth oversaw a process in which practically the entire British Empire transformed into a voluntary association of sovereign nations. Her own authority became largely ceremonial, and the British "empire" is down to just a few islands scattered around the globe. But where other empires have gone down in literal flames, Elizabeth largely guided hers to a peaceful, orderly end.

The monarch is the figure head of the commonwealth and the commonwealth gives us all security, attack any one and you attack all and likely our other allies as well.

We generally have access to and use of much of the land which they own.

Now Im not particularly arguing that having a royal family is a good thing just that suggesting that they are of no value at all seems incorrect.

Also without a royal family when you look up if the highest point you can see is some muppet politician you are likely to be more than a little disappointed, we at least have lizard people.

She was the president/patron of over 600 charities, In her 60th year on the throne she helped raise over £1.43 billion for them.

On her 90th birthday she donated the £1.2 million surplus from the events ticket sales to 10 charities.

Other things: she joined the military as soon as she turned 18, despite being advised against it. She actually did what she could to reform the monarchies finances, they sold things to make up extra money, paid taxes and didn't even fuss when they lost 44 million of their budget. The Queen worked to support racial equality, dancing with the president of Ghana which outraged many. She worked behind the scenes to get the commonwealth to condemn South Africas apartheid system. She also supported the BLM.

Not to mention she was a sense of stability for the nations after King Edward VIII, WWII and the early death of her father George VI.

She was the first female member of the royal family to serve in the military. She joined during WWII and seved as a truck mechanic. She interacted with leaders of many countries helping them as well as her own people. She was the first British monarch to visit West Germany since 1913 to help support them. She has made many historic overseas visits lending support to relationships with many countries.

I am sorry. You only wanted to hear one thing she accomplished and I have gone way over that. So I will stop and let you believe that she did nothing.

I understand kiddo, and I ain't no royalist. Yes a hat rack can do 70% of the job of a monarch. But in the case of this queen they cannot be overt about most of her roles for good reasons.

For example she was Supreme Governess of the Church of England. That makes her a religious figure who probably oversaw and decided on a lot of matters of Church and faith - maybe even hidden some pedo priests.

Something which would upset her atheist and non protestant supporters.

Likewise with her others roles, they cannot go into them too much as you're only supposed to see her as a monarch.

Such royal roles are symbolic and political. They raise the profile of the country and facilitate access to people and organisations that the actual politicians sometimes cannot reach.
They themselves are not officially political and do not hold power like a country leader but they still command international respect and influence. And it's in that vague sphere that they operate.
As such you can decide that they are an expensive waste of money or a much needed tool that other countries do not have or have lost.
Your question is a good one and fully expect people around the world to be trying to answer it over the next few years. Some new republics may be created from it...

Other than that, the Royals just represent the Dark Ages when dissent was not tolerated, those not loyal to the King were executed, slavery, Feudalism, Eugenics, and just evil people in general.

Side note: There is some merit (supporting evidence) that she played a role in orchestrating Diana's death. This is based on facts, not mere speculation. If so, she is just a huge bastard lol

Under her reign the UK lost almost all of its empire and now is being invaded by foreigners.

Maybe it's less what she did and more what she DIDN'T do. You've never seen her sex tape, you've never seen footage of her drunk an tweaking. She was a symbol of grace and class.
