How was your talk about reparations for slavery in the United States a lot of people don’t know that it wasn’t only blacks that were enslaved. But the Russians brought Nordic no Swedish slaves over the Alaska many escaped from Alaska in small life boats and sailed south to the Washington and Oregon territory my ancestors and even my self have stayed in the Pacific Northwest sense they were enslaved. So why aren’t we talking about reparations for both descendants of white slaves which were enslaved by the Russians before the United States bought the Alaskan territory and reparations for black slaves which were primarily on the East Coast. It would be racist to give blacks reparations for there ancestors being enslaved and not the descendants of the Swedes and the Nords for there ancestors being enslaved so ultimately there are I guess 5 questions that need to be answered. 1 who’s going to pay for the reparations? 2 is it going to be the United States or are you going to force Russia to pay us white folks who are descendants of people who are enslaved by the Russians? 3 how are they going to do that? If we are to Forrest Russia to pay the ancestors of the Nordic and Swedish slaves. 4 who’s going to pay for it? 5 are we going to continue the cycle of what the Democrats like to call systemic racism and deny the ancestors of Russian slaves but give reparations for those who were enslaved by the Anglican‘s?
doubt it, I'm still waiting for the Mongolians to payup for what htey did to my ancestors. Look what reparations did to the world for WWI... it created WWII.
It is very frustrating dealing with unfairness, cheating, lying and robbery. One wants fairness... it's hard to get in this world.
my wifes family came here 50 years ago with nothing, poor farmers and a clean slate. They are all now extremely well off and successful. If people ahve problems with the past, maybe they should leave and come back... with a fresh start. it's easier.
would it be better if they apologized and payed homage to the history, and showed you respect? that we may be able to get.

Every civilization that exists today had ancestors who owned slaves. There is no getting around it so the argument can be put to rest. Thomas Sowell talks at length and often about this in his prolific career. If anybody owes reparations everybody owes reparations which cancel each other out. I realize that this is going to be unpopular amongst people who have made a lot of money or power or prestige either race hustling race baiting or race pandering, but it is what it is.
You could always send Putin an email and ask. I wouldn’t hold my breath, but no harm in asking.
Probably because they weren't enslaved just for the color of their skin...

You're full of shit and deflecting. the Russians back then neither engaged in slavery or colonialism like the Romans. They had no need, and slave caravans were not possible to that region anyway. Hence your assertion falls flat on the first step.
Who captured them? Who bought them? Who shipped them from one continent to another? And finally who bought them as property?

I'll pay you a McDonalds meal... would that be enough?
Did the United States of America enslave your ancestors?
I would have to look into your weird nordic slave trade claims….I want reparations for my family that fought in the civil war for the union side to free the slaves.
The leftists who claims to want equality, and are for slavery reparations thinks so. Unless of course their wishes for equality are based on false premises made to disgues attempts of oppression of white people.
Nobody's getting reparations. That's just something they squawk about during election season to keep us voting for the big D.
Don't you find that looking backwards stops you from looking forward?
white people were never slaves in america, so shut up.
you better get something. that's not fair
Don;t hold your breath.
