In Turkey, we make ₺5500 a month, and even for terrible houses, rent pricing is starting from ₺5000 a month, and purchasing a house is ₺3.000.000
So we will not be able to buy a house ever by just working for other people.

Expensive because people has lost any sense when they bid. Not as if they would pay it of in 10 years as you should be able to. The remaining years need to go to maintenance and improvements. But like everything you can buy houses really cheap if your handy and don't mind having to basically rebuild it with your hands. But you will live far away from anything in an building no one else wants.
''my'' hosting country has two levels of housing:
#1 crap quality; and much overpriced to unsuspecting buyers
and
#2 crap quality; and VERY much overpriced to unsuspecting ''Western'' foreigners.
I'd only build one with my own hands if only I wanted to own a house.
Houses start at $400,000 (for crappy houses that need lots of work) and go up to 10 million depending on which city you live in. Renting houses or apartments are anywhere between $450-$1600 per week, the house I rent is $300 per week but that’s only because I’m lucky and have family who own properties for me to rent.
In Canada the minimum salary is $2100 a month before taxes, at the moment rents are on average $2500 for a house, and for 2 bedroom apartment can go up to $2000. As for the price of a house average $400 000. So yes if you work for someone else you'd never be able to buy a house.
You are right. But why housing prices are terrible in all over the world right now?
Simple. During the pandemic most of the governments were giving money to the citizens, while the business was shut down. The banks lowered their interest rates and developed a huge market for the housing, the demand was higher then what the market was offering and everyone was bidding on properties. Now is the opposite due to the high interests of the banks, people sell their properties because they can no longer pay high interest and the demand isn't as high... Also international investors play a huge role in the prices of properties. At least that's how is in Canada. No idea how was Turkey during the pandemic and the consequences of it.

Same as you buddy, it's expensive and there's a chance a lot people, including myself, won't be able to buy home for a long time or ever at all. I hope I don't have to rent forever but it's looking that way.. unless I win the lottery lol.
£300k to buy a house
£1,200 rent per month for a place like that
Wages are about £1,600 on minimum wage
Can't buy a house working for someone else and if you are self employed you need to screw your customers to do it... I can't do that so won't own a place in this life
I live in America, which is a big place so it's different depending on where you go.
Many people where I live make about $4000/month and most places to live are 3500/month but you can find some really small, shitty and old places for closer to 2200.
Yup, the great reset is happening across the globe. We were called conspiracy theorists.
Depends largely where you live in regards to state of town. Most people in America will never be able to afford to buy a house, they've been priced out of it.
Housing prices are over a million in Toronto for a rundown house
Most priorities go for $350,000-$400,000 so extremely expensive.
Housing is insane in my area. Two bedroom condos up near Hoag are about $900K. Studios closer to the beach go at up to $3K per month.
5500 - 5000 = 500 for everything else. So you basically pay rent and buy food. No water, electricity, and no gas.
Food is expensive too, it will take at least ₺3000
That ain't adding up
Where I live the median home price was over 700k.
Here in Luxembourg housing is crazy expensive. Average price is like 1.5million euro for a house
Minimum wage is 2300€/month
Pricey in the USA
Very expensive.
Wow how to you afford that
High
50k dollars
Terrible
