In general I am extremely weary of charity organizations. Simply because you hardly ever get to see where your money is going. The same can also be said about religious and political organizations as well. So when I heard that people in BLM where accepting donations and raising a lot of money doing so I was skeptical if it from the start. Given that BLM started in 2013 and we have yet to see where said donations are going I didn't need Owens to tell me that the donations where be pocketed by the people accepting them.
Also she will catch flack for blowing the lid of this whole mess. But people need to look past race on this. Because it wouldn't be right for a religious organization or political organization, political organization or any other organization for that matter to use donations for personal use. The leader in BLM are just as guilty of misappropriating funds as a preacher who uses church donations to fund their lavish lifestyle or the political figure who uses campaign donations to do the same. They are all guilty of the same thing.
