Why do you think Armenian parents have softened their conservative views over the last few months?

Or is it just my parents? They went from being avid Fox News watchers who were mostly on the Trump-side of things when it came to social causes (not necessarily backing him 100%), and even watching Tucker Carlson and Sean Hannity a couple years back; to viewing shows broadcasting racial diversity and even the LGBT themes they never thought they would allow my underage brother to be exposed to, as well as Trevor Noah and some Barack Obama inspiration.

They're "independents", as selves-proclaimed. But they really went from being centrist Democrats to moderate Republicans, back to being centrist Democrats.

Fyi, they STILL order food from Chick-fil-A and Amazon, both ultracapitalist corporations fueled by right-wing lobbyists.

My younger brother repeats right-wing and left-wing talking points alike; he's not really that enthusiastic in politics like one of my cousins his age is. But more increasingly left-wing talking points. That said, both parents and I all are devout believers in the Lord God.

parenting in general as gotten soft. it is supposedly meant to be an overcorrection to "helicopter" parenting of the WW2 era thus modern society has done everything in its power to remove the involvement of parent's from their kids' lives as much as possible often with the use of shame tactics.

once upon a time a mother helped her son to determine if his girlfriend was a cheating hoe or not and a father helped his daughter determine if her boyfriend was an abusive rapist or not but these days, modern society thinks its best for parents to get lost and allow their children to "experiment" on their own which why we have the problems we have today.

propaganda is doing everything in its power to weaken the nuclear family unit, turning husbands and wives against each other, turning kids against their parents all because "freedom" is more "important" never mind that as long as peer pressure exists, no one is truly "free" in society.

Perhaps they have just seen that all the media is owned by a handful of people and if you look closely they all seem to say the same things at the same time... sometimes word for word
and if they have looked even closer
maybe they have noticed that it appears a lot of all that they are shown by the media is bullshit
