Why do many conservatives venerate a racist guy like Ben Shapiro?

I would like to hear from conservatives what good Ben Shapiro brings to the political debate besides arguing against some evidently absurd woke talking points which no one needs him to come to the same conclusion.

There’s no evidence that Shapiro is racist. That kind of name calling and blanket association is nothing more than an ignorant attempt to marginalize someone just because you disagree with them. Unlike people like that, like you, Shapiro is intelligent and eloquent. He has sat down and talked and debated with several prominent progressives, few of whom resorted to name calling. You don’t have to like him to respect him. Hell, you don’t even need to respect him. Maybe respect the leftists who respect him. Maybe you don’t want to be like better people than yourself. I don't see how he's racist. He's biased toward Israel but I don't think he's racist. And I don't see how he reps corporate interests. That's more left-style. Right-style is small business; corporate interests hate right-wing economic policies since they open up the doors for more competition instead of being anti-competitive like hiking up min wage.

I and most veterans from that era agree that it was a waste of time and lives for us to try to help the Arabs by attempting to train them how to defend themselves against the radicals who were oppressing them. By all accounts I've heard, they were both too stupid and too destructive to be taught how to do such a thing.

I don't know about the syrians, which seems to be the the only people the men in the video talks about (of course I didn't watch the whole thing, but that seems to be the direction he was going), I am speaking specifically of soldiers who are stationed in Iraq. But even if that is true for all of the Arab states, intention is irrelevant since they well demonstrated the air capable of receiving help.

I don't know if you know this, but there were mini camps set up specifically to train the locals. You can literally look up videos of them and the laughably poor job they were doing at practicing basic exercises. So like I said, regardless of what the ulterior motives were, if there were any, a tangible and recorded attempt to train them was made that thousands of US soldiers can vouch for. An attempt that was a complete failure because of their own self-destructive nature. Which is the point of my answer.

Help them? How, by removing Saddam Hussain and implementing a new form of government there, and funding groups like ISIS? Even Trump himself admits that Iraq was much safer and stable under Hussein and before the Iraq war.
