Why do brutally honest blunt people feel that they are not the ones with a problem to change?

many people online claim to love brutal honesty but the moment you tell them that they are rude or they get rejected by their friends for their bluntness, instead of changing their tact and lack of diplomacy, the brutally blunt person feels everyone else is wrong and they are telling the "truth" in their eyes. Why do blunt people feel they don't have to change their behavior?

Because there is a difference between the people who think “I don’t care what people think, I’m going to tell them exactly what I think and feel.” Regardless of how it may affect someone else. They are stuck in “me mentality “. Compared to people with good intentions and/or people who are able to control their emotions and think objectively.

Exactly, look at the other assholes who tried to deflect from posting another question I answered, they got mad because all I said that brutally blunt people want to be brutal with no consequences and they lost their shit.
