No- quite the opposite.

1. He encouraged the shutdowns (he obviously didn't have the authority to mandate them on a state level, and I will give him full credit that he didn't try to do it on a Federal one) that gutted the economy and killed, directly or indirectly, tens of millions of people. He's not the one who made the calls, so his degree of guilt is questionable, but not calling for them to be abandoned (for all the good it would have done) once it became apparent that the danger of the disease was WAY overstated is grotesquely irresponsible at best. He did deploy hospital ships to all three coasts to accommodate hospital overruns, in the event the shutdowns didn't work to slow the spread (which they didn't); credit for planning ahead for the worst. They saw a grand total of sixty cases. Even THAT didn't convince him to step up and say "look, we overestimated the danger; it's time to back down". This is emphatically NOT a man who's afraid to make controversial statements; I think even his worst enemies wouldn't deny that.

2. His egocentrism pushed him to be "the one to find the solution", so "Operation Warp Speed" rushed ahead, pushing out a treatment (it's not a vaccine, no matter WHAT they say) with a laughably small amount of testing, and absolutely NO long-term safety testing. Now, mRNA treatments aren't a new idea; they've trying to make them for thirty years- but they KEEP FAILING, because test animals KEEP DYING. Obviously, the fatality rate for humans with these... let's call them "Trumpccines"; I think that gets the point across and offends everyone who needs to be offended- is comparatively minuscule, but in a way that's even worse, because it's set the precedent that safety testing is optional, if you're scared enough, so the public, lulled into complacently trusting "the experts", don't question the one that actually will kill boatloads of people.

(Of course, since reverse transcriptase and horizontal gene transfer are very real, observed phenomenons, and not just "right-wing conspiracy theories", and genetic data can be stored in benign or even benevolent microbes for literal billions of years, it's entirely possible that we've already doomed our civilization by sharing spike protein DNA with, say, bird flu (twice as lethal as smallpox, folks!) or rabies (three untreated survivors of 3-stage infection in the entirety of human history). Naturally, the odds of that happening with a given injection are astronomically low; mRNA doesn't last long, that's the whole POINT- but when you've got billions of people getting multiple shots, that changes the numbers.)

3. Most pressingly, COVID IS NOT DANGEROUS. Dishonest bookkeeping methods and scaremongering media campaigns blind people to the fact that it's a disease with an IFR of (at worst) 0.35%, meaning it's notably less dangerous than, among other things, chicken pox. Nobody ever died of Covid who wasn't already dying of something else, and it just pushed them over the edge they were already teetering on. There simply weren't enough threatened people to save, and nothing Trump did actually protected them.

Yes so did a lot of other countries. Closing the borders was not the issue but how things were being conducted within the country itself. Every state had their own mandates so its hard to tell if thousands of lives were saved nor not, Northern states had stricter laws while the southern were more on the fence (i have family and friends that live and work in different parts of the states so you hear about the mandates) Any thing covid related was not in the hands of a countries leaders but in the hands of the world health organizations. So this isn't a win nor a loss for him

That is a lie. Trump did not close travel to countries based on preventing covid19, he did it for political reasons while using the pandemic as a convenient excuse. This is easily provable by pointing out that even the countries which he did ban had glaring exemptions and other flaws that meant they would never have worked to stop the spread of a pandemic.

It is also worth pointing out that Trumps denial regarding Covid19, lack of actions and sabotage has costed USA literally hundreds of thousands of deaths due to covid19 that would have been prevented with any other president.
