I believe that 95% of people are lying if they say that race has absolutely no negative connotations when perceiving an individual. It’s think it just happens, whether they think it’s wrong or not. And by negative, this could mean a superiority complex, or just feeling like their foreign, and not in a particularly positive way. Creates a sense of unspoken separation that can only be felt.
This does not mean that they support lynching or slavery, just a connotation that could be intrusive.
Of course they are lying.
I am the first to admit that I have plenty of racial connotations on how I perceive people. For example:
Jews= rich.
Asians = good in math but uptight.
Mexicans = lots of kids and they have found a way to stuff 20 Mexicans into one car.
Blacks = talk funny and they like greasy food.
Italians = short temper.
See? You are not the only one.

If that’s the exact wording, then yes. We all have first impressions and immediate (sometimes racist/sexist) ideas pop in our head due to culture, media etc. Then our super-ego (conscience) kicks in and beats our ass ass for those racist thoughts.

I think so. Dave Chappelle once said that we are brought up to think in generalizations. That's how the human mind works, and anyone who believes otherwise is extremely naiive
Of the races in the US, whites tend to view all races somewhat equally
