Why does so many people place so much importance on royalty and Hollywood?

Royals and celebrities don’t care about or even know us seemingly peasants in their eyes. So why are so many people obsessed with following royalty and celebrities around? Why do people care what they think, mimic what they wear, believe what they believe, give them credibility, or even waste one minute of precious time thinking about them?

No mortal is truly royal or greater over another. Men and women were meant to be free enough to be kings and queens over their own home and land. It seems everyone would do better to start following their own dreams into reality instead of being distracted by snobs who self inflate their importance and value in this world! So why do people persist and do it anyway?

It's an interesting question you raise. It's true that many people seem to be fascinated with royalty and celebrities, even though they may not know us personally.

I think part of the allure comes from the fact that these individuals often represent an idealised version of ourselves, with their glamorous lifestyles, beautiful homes, and seemingly perfect relationships. In a way, we may live vicariously through them and their experiences.

Another reason may be that people are naturally drawn to stories and drama, and following the lives of famous people can be a form of escapism from our own lives. We can become emotionally invested in their triumphs and struggles, and it can provide a welcome distraction from the stresses and challenges we face in our own daily lives.

At the same time, I agree that it's important to focus on our own dreams and goals, rather than getting too caught up in the lives of others. We should strive to find our own sense of purpose and fulfillment, and not rely on external sources of validation or inspiration.

Because they are stupid, programmed and in trance, which being programmed implies, that's for example what narcissists and borderline people do to their victims. The celebrity cult is real and so is the actor based reality cult and the muggles live in those "realities". Kim kardashian ass, Jeniffer Aniston face, Jeniffer Aniston youth and 367 other things. This is a great question! I ask myself the same question. They don't know that we exist and they are humans like us. I would say it's because people are bored with their own lives or they wish they had the life of celebrities. So they would rather live in a fantasy and follow "royals" and celebrities instead of living their lives.
