Which human rights are neglected in modern day America?

Human rights as defined by the united nations. Or other human rights you can find.

Apparently slavery is abolished. And yet we have a vast amount of jobs with low salaries being occupied and the higher paid ones diminishing exponentially the higher the payroll is.

I mean OK, slavery by definition is forced unpaid labor. But we are not that far off from it either because the level above that is called proletarian.

Or in real world examples people working 2-3 jobs or divorced men being forced to pay alimoney and child support to their exes, leaving them impoverished.

And then we have a violation of privacy happening on a daily basis with Google, Microsoft, Facebook and many more data mining companies. But this happens globally rather than just in the US.

In Germany I consider not being able to possess firearms a violation to the right to protect yourself. But that's just the quirk with Germany.

Well lets just go through a few. Ill be using the Universal declaration of human rights found here:

Article 1: All human beings are born free and equal etc..
USA literally have racist laws, more specifically the Crime law of 1994 allowing us to skip right past this one.

Article 2: Equality again in regards to the application of the declaration of human rights. This is harder to prove but the bias in the legal system makes sure that certain groups are sure as hell a lot more "equal" than others.

Article 3: Everyone has the right to life, liberty and security of person.
Not in America they are. Death penalty for one and whatever the police wants to harass you over today or god forbid you want to travel by air and have to get molested by the NSA.

Article 4: No one hall be held in slavery or servitude.
Except in USA where they have the 13th amendment and around 400 000 slaves give or take.

Article 5: No one shall be subjected to torture or cruel, inhuman or degrading treatment etc..
Yeah.. Guantanamo.. children in prisons.. "enhanced interrogation techniques" etc..

Article 6: Everyone has the right to recognition everywhere as a person before the law.
Again, Guantanamo. I could mention other more edge cases but this is plenty.

Article 7: Equality before the law.
Again, racist laws. Moving on.

Article 8: Equality in courts etc..
Again, racist laws and USA's justice system is rubbish anyway you look at it with some people, most notably the rich and powerful, having a lot more benefits than everyone else.

Article 9: No one shall be subjected to arbitrary arrests or exile.
USA has a long and proud history of arbitrary arrests. Right now for example there are a lot of journalists being arrested without reason as a way to intimidate them and preventing them from doing their job.

Article 10 (and the final one ill do): Everyone is entitled in full equality to a fair and public hearing by an independent and impartial tribunal.
Again, Americas justice system is a fucking joke. Who you are matters a lot to what the court decision will be. To not repeat myself too much lets just mention something new here, namely how the courts in USA is very biased towards the police in cases where there is a police officer against a civilian.

So yeah.. zero for 10. Not a good score.

Seems like it should be a human right to know you have a child, yet half of the US population does not have the right to know they have a child in the world..
